  • Personaly I dont chanse it, way too dangerouse. I perfer to keep my life and limbs

  • DO YOU EVER GET SO ANGY AT CAR DRIVERS THAT YOU WONT TO PULL THEM OUT OF THER CAR I WONT TO

  • Just breathe deeply and say "They're just not as good a driver as I am; they're just not as good a driver as I am; they're just not as good a driver as I am; they're just not as good a driver as I am... " repeat as necessary. Occasionally it works. :-)

(Either that or carry a whistle between your lips at all times; it CAN and will save your life.)

  • As I'm sure you already know: 1) own your area of the road, don't hug 3 inches from the curb. 2) eye contact is crucial. Staring at drivers is not being aggressive, its just the best way to make sure they see you.

Have fun, too. Commuting by bike is so much more fun and beneficial than by car.

  • @my3jeeps If you try to "take the lane" or behave like you have the right of way (like the law says) thats when the impatient freaks really get aggressive. I have no choice but to ride in the gutter.

  • @socomcorky most seasoned cyclists would disagree, you would be safer in a stronger position. happy riding though

  • @socomcorky Same here buddy.

  • @socomcorky I'm surprised you say you have to ride the shoulder. In traffic and near intersections I'll take my lane to avoid being driven into the ditch. Stay safe.

  • I'm just curious... what part of the country are you bicycle commuting in? I've lived and ridden a bicycle extensively in several west coast cities and rarely have I seen such careless and outright aggressive driving behavior... even in Los Angeles!

    Ride smart, stay up!

  • they should give our troops in iraq and afganistan these bicycles. the stealth capability is awsome. it seems to make you completely invisible even if somebody is 3 feet away they cant see you. amazed the cyclist didnt swear more. seriously tho they should send police men/ women on them with number plate recognition cameras so these drivers can be prosecuted for dangerous driving

  • If I were you I would get a mountain bike and carry some ninja rocks (porcelain).

When someone does something dangerous bust their window and quickly ride off-road.

They wont ever endanger a cyclist again.

  • I think the issue you're having with that left turn only lane outside (presumably) the building you work in isn't that you're on a bicycle, but that the right-of-way seems less than obvious because of the crosswalk.

Getting around in big parking lots is always a pain in the ass, whether in a car, on a bike or on foot.

  • @Ethoxyethane - Lately it seems even the most basic traffic laws are completely disregarded- especially the speed limit. Trying to ride anywhere has become impossible due to carelessness and outright aggression. I am considering hanging up the bike after 25+ years of riding.

  • Just because some drivers are ignorant doesn't mean that you ashould give up the bike riding. The day that I got off my crutches after being hit I got on the bicycle and went for a ride. On the same main road where I got hit.

  • I commute also.Too bad most of those roads have no paved shoulders; That is where motorists think we should be .Even worse,I can be minding my own business, not impeding a vehicle but someone will stick their head out and SCREAM something OBSCENE.-Stay safe.

  • I dont know why some people are absolutely freaked out when they see someone on a bicycle. Thanks for the comment and dont give up!

  • @bikebeerrun1960 People are just assholes. I realize there's no logic in that statement but neither is there any when someone is yelling or honking at you for no reason whatsoever. It's not like people haven't seen a bicycle before. Amazing.

  • You got it exactly right man! A large portion of our society is JUST PLAIN RETARDED! Be careful out there!

  • I have ridden my bike on the roads of Europe and here in the states and I will tell you one thing: Drivers in Europe are more considerate when it comes to bicycle riders on the road than drivers here.

  • I have ridden my bike on the raods of Europe and here in the states and I have one thing to say: Drivers in Europe are more considerate than the drivers here

  • car at 0:27 ftw

  • are pepole in you´re town blind stupid and bad drivers or all of it or what? i would try to avoid hitting you.

  • All the above plus impatient, spoiled, rich, and rude!

  • oh yeah how are they allowed to drive in your town?

  • No rules whatsoever. Only cyclists are expected to follow traffic laws. Vehicles are exempt.

  • what no rules? how about the sheriff? has the sheriff gone into retierment or what?

  • In 25 years I have never seen or heard of the police citing a driver for failing to yeild right of way to a cyclist .

  • mow that's crazy. the cops should be on there feets in your town.

  • looks like they need a stronger police force in your town.

  • I see them all the time pulling over black and latino drivers.

  • why black and latinos? and not stupid drivers and those that fail to yeld for a cylist?

  • often, the people who don't wear helmets are those who don't ride on the roads, or not that often. I am pretty much forced to wear one because it's suicidal not to....and these vids show it. nice one!!

  • can anyone read there vins?

  • The original video is clearer than on Youtube and the license number comes out pretty clear. However, I dont think the police really care too much to do anything.

  • I'm always a fan of the angry speed-by's. "My car has more hp than your legs! And therefore my dick is bigger!"

  • I think they must have very tiny penises.

  • Goddamn stupid ass drivers. That's why I put car horns on my bike. Great video, BTW.

  • Thanks!
