My experience was very similar. Main difference was mine had french language throughout. Idk why throwing it makes you feel better but i sure the fuck did.
lol... this was some funny stuff. All you needed to do was take of tire....remove a few screws.....peel back the splash guard....remove front bolt 10mm and pull out plastis rear clip....out the resonator comes..... 15mins top including jacking the car up to remove the wheel.
Man ...Kudo's for all the hard work you went through.....lol
Polobeatz had the right idea,,,AEM actually sent instructions with my CAI that shows installation instructions going from underneath the splash guard..cic you just remove the resinator or did you install a CAI
that actually was the hard way, the easy way to do it, without sawing any oem parts, was to jack up the car, turn the wheel, and remove the screws from the splash guard, trust man, that is the easiet manuever to accessing the resonator
lol. i just did that to my cobalt. so i could install my cold air intake. it was a bitch to take out lol. i basicly used a saw and cut it to peices and use a flat head screwdriver and hammer to break that dam pop rivet in the back. glad its over with

simple qestion in need of a simple answer lol what is the diffrence between the intanke resonator and the resonator mufflers ?
Drifterzz89 2 years ago
I believe they are both the same thing. Although I've never heard of anyone referring to it as a resonator muffler.

Yeah I know... I read somewhere that you can remove it if you remove the headlight but that didn't work at all.
