I have Charter Plus as well... and I'm only using a DOCSIS 2.0 modem and my download is always between 18 mbps - 28 mbps my upload is always atleast 4 mbps... so yeah, charter is pretty beasty.

I live WAY WAY out in the woods......Could Charter work there? I heard that Charter cant go way out there....is that true? Anyway , our internet is REALLY REALLY FAILING! Im wondering whats the best internet to buy and the cheapist....atleast sort of fast......atleast its fast O_O.....so if you guys know any internet thats some what cheap and ACTULLY fast and unlimited or something like that PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!!! @TheLegoBeyFreak That's how AT&T was when i had it, but my neighbor has it, and he says it works fine, but Charter works great for me, but my same neighbor had it, and said it was bad.

charter sucks in my area, it is always disconnecting and the paying $90 dollars a month and the speed is not what i am paying for only 6mb

@computer305 It happens to my sister too, she has charter then now att uverse and it both disconnects on her... though charter disconnects all the time ( 24hrs 7days a week) but with att uverse, it connects randomly but not everyday... I wish I have att unverse, not sure why I can't get it because my cousin has it and they live 10mins away... Also I have Charter it doesn't disconnect on me only when it's renewing my ip address

@batterbee2000 I'm betting he had a corroded coax cable. We had that problem where it'd cut out every couple hours.

@extacyboost Charter works better in different areas. I have had mine for over 2 years, and it cut out about 5 times so far.

if you can get 30 down w/ the Plus Package imagine 40 down with their highest package. practically best speed in america besides fiber optics. :D :D
