I grew up very loved in a middle class home and I am happy she gave me up for adoption. It was an unselfish and loving decision on her part. By doing so I grew up with two prnts who wanted a blue eyed blond haired baby boy. She could have had an abortion. I have since met her and spent vacations getting to know my "birth mother". My mom is Margaret who appears in season 3 episode 11 Prayers Answered. To this day Troy Dunn has no idea who he was talking to or her history.
I'm a 45 year old male and tear up watching any of the episodes as well...but there is a good reason why. I was adopted and didnt know who my mother or father was. The parents who raised me could only tell me that they knew her father was a doctor. It would have been easy for her to get an abortion. I was 21 yrs old when she contacted me by phone. The mother who raised me had passed away when I was 19 so there was that missing in my life.
i really tried not to cry while watching this, but i cried anyways. I have a uncle somewheres out there & i wish i could meet him. My grandma had him when she was 16 an her mom made her put the baby up for adoption. My mom has searched for her brother, but she hasn't had any luck. I'm only 16, it would be nice to meet him, and my cousins if he has any kids.
@xoellabella101ox That is from Season 2 called A Daughter's Mission. Although so many are my favs that one stands out so much to me. I loved both the daughter and the father she was reunited with.
Isn't this show just THE best show on TV ??? I've just seen the show for the first time here in England & I'm not ashamed to say speaking as a man by the time the show ended I was bawling
I love seeing the different family dynamics of broken families. It was so heartbreaking to see the episode about the black/korean woman trying to find her mom. Great show, although I do feel a bit embarrassed to peek in on their personal lives.
Where can I find some of these episodes?? I only seen the one with the father and daughter where the father is apologizing for putting his daughter throug that and the one with Tamika. I'd like to see the rest. I love The Locator!
