  • Thank you very much for sharing this with us!

  • Yeah, you glorify piracy with this movie MPAA but then you bitch when you can't get Congress to censor the net because of these same people.

  • Some scens from trailer missing.

  • Does not have several stages from trailer in movie.

  • I have a doubt: why isnt Paul Allen as millionier as Bill Gates?

  • bill gates is the greatest computer genius for me .. . . . . . .

  • bill gates wasnt the greatest computer genius of the century the only reason microsoft got big was because bill gates was a kick as moneyman

  • Best movie ever

  • Just saw this. Pretty cool movie. Steve Jobs was a dick. Still love my iPhone though! Haha. Good movie. :^)

  • in the end i still respect jobs more even after loosing his CEO post from apple he went out and build another company later which he sold and made another one which we all know pixar which made revolution in computer graphics and animation then he rejoined Apple against bought Ipod - which no one never thought of ,,then ipad,,iphone,,its been said jobs have patent over 200+ electric items so gates is nothing compare to jobs as he done nothing himself all is copy from OS to MS office nothing new

  • @9wrongnumber "Loosing" His CEO post???? Did he do that with a screwdriver or something? LMAO! DUM-E

  • @seattlehawkins r u dumb u noob what does screwdriver has to do with CEO position ? @_@

  • @9wrongnumber Let it soak in..........Lmao!

  • "Good artists borrow, great artists steal" - some artist, I think it was Van Gogh ;)

  • @iutuber1 it was Picasso

  • @Mitche23 He's just quoting what "Bill Gates" from the movie said.

  • @Mitche23 hehe, this one was actually a line from the movie, said as a joke

  • R.I.P. Steve Jobs.

  • The Social Network movie is no a pure social network!

  • It's like The Social Network Movie, but made 10 years earlier!

  • funny how those two white nerds changed the world

  • @ 0:58 he almost does Marcus Fenix's voice.

  • Noah Wyle, now to 10 years play Steve Jobs again !

  • Steve Jobs was horrific as a boss and I admire how this movies shows that none of them were innocent. Steve wrecked his company while Bill at no point pulled the stuff that Steve did, that is, splitting his company in two and then becoming completely insane about Apple being some spiritual battle instead of a business.

  • @TheNuharoo Bill Gate didn't have to split his company in two. The courts did it for him when he was found guilty of violating anti-monopoly laws.

  • ive watched the movie plenty of time and i dont remember the 0:06-0:10 part.

  • I had ZERO idea how SEXY Steve Jobs was back in the day. Hey, if he didn't revolutionize technology in Silicon Valley, he could have been some pretty boy actor in Hollywood. Yum :P

  • 0:15 in the original film this scene doesn't appear where can i found this extended version?

  • Fact - this is capitalism, nobody survives in this world being ` a good guy`, everybody is stealing, that`s how the game is...Google, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook. Just look around!

  • @emersondoser

Your comment is probably the smartest one I've read about this film.

  • @Gianburrask This is pretty much it. For me Gates is a big asshole but nobody gives a shit about it, just because he has lots of money, then he can be forgiven. But nobody is innocent in this game, this is capitalism. Sad but true. Lots of people are being honest and don't take much as reward(losing their jobs and everything), they end up giving as example that being an asshole can be justified, what kinda of world is that?? This is a jungle, baby.

  • Pretty good movie. made Steve Jobs look like an asshole which may or may not have been justified.

  • @bigmoney749 No, he WAS an asshole. But, that's what made Apple what it is today.

  • I wonder how Sony's version is gonna turn out. It's more of the Biography of Jobs but I'm sure this is gonna be a huge part of it.

  • BTW this is a real movie. I watched it...course I didn't pay though!

  • Remake please!!!!hahaaa.

  • " nine thirty with your president Mr.Gates" LOL

  • I WANT IT!

    D:<

  • this was a real movie?!!

  • R.I.P STEVE JOBS

  • I have had it with these motherfucking "R.I.P. Steve Jobs" statements in every motherfucking video related to apple or jobs.

  • @54114142 Hey, have some respect.

  • Evil bill gates lol

  • underrated movie!

  • Love them or hate them, bill and steve played a huge part in progressing the evolution of the human race. Thats a huge deal

  • @Choncy21

well... progress of human culture yes.

  • @Choncy21

Lol, I think you're giving them a little too much credit there. Steve Jobs and Bill Gates did not evolve the human race. Humans are still the same assholes they were before personal computers.

  • He, Steve Jobs, must be loving this. If he could only be here to laugh with us...

  • And The Pirates Still A live... Oh.. So Sad.. And i still use a pirates OS

  • What is the name of the song.. 1:09 - 1:32 ?

  • FACT = Bill Gates AND Steve Jobs stole ideas about GUI from Xerox

  • @Hunkola

Dude they address that in the movie as well.

  • @Hunkola

You don't really get it do you?it's not about movie itself ,it is about how much more interesting the life and the rise of the person Steve Jobs is in comparison to someone who created a simple website like Zuckerberg It is like comparing The man who invented the automobile against the man who invented the toothpick ,it is plain stupid ,the Zuckerberg movie is a nonsense ,nomether how good it was directed/playd .

  • @Hunkola Actually, Apple made a deal with Xerox that gave them access to the technology that was created at PARC. Apple got the GUI and related technology, Xerox got a bunch of pre-IPO Apple-shares. There was no theft.

  • @Hunkola Stole is the wrong word. More like paid them in stock. Dumbass.

  • @Hunkola FACT!! Xerox wasn't doing shit with that technology, they didn't know what they had, had we waited for slow as Xerox to figure out what to do with it, I wouldn't be typing this!! AND THAT'S A FACT!

  • @Vegasgodless --- It doesnt matter what Xerox wanted to do with GUI......they invented it and had every right to do as they please.......but Steve Jobs STOLE IT......and he didnt give Xerox a dime for it.....just like a money-grubbing Jew!

  • @Hunkola Everybody knows that. But.....FACT. Only Steve Jobs realized that it could actually be used mainstream. That is part of his brilliance.

  • @Hunkola and where is xerox now? thats what i thought.

  • @Hunkola they did not steal anything from Xerox...

Xerox did not know what they had,and sold it for penny's on the dollar...

  • @Hunkola "Good artists borrow, great artists steal."

  • @Hunkola Actually you're pretty stupid. If you read the Steve Jobs book, you'd know that Xerox sold the GUI to Apple in exchange for Apple stock. Microsoft stole it. lrn2read.

  • @Hunkola Steve Jobs stole the technology, not the design, but the technology, from Xerox and Gates stole the idea from Jobs.

  • @LegoLoverFilms --- Call it whatever you want, but its still PURE THEFT that Jobs committed on Xerox. But then he has the arrogance to say "Apple has culture and we come up with great stuff". Steve Jobs is a fucking THIEF and he's rotting in Hell for it.

  • @Hunkola I wouldn't use the term 'steal'. I know that Apple at least payed Xerox so that they could examine it. Microsoft probably did the same.

  • @Hellstrom03 --- You better watch the movie again. It's very clear that Xerox engineers were nice enough to show Jobs the idea about GUI --- and then Jobs fucking stole it and used it in the '84 Macintosh. PURE THEFT.

  • @Hunkola – I would say that its better to read the book that it was based on to get the real fact. Even in Steve Jobs biography the Xerox employees says that they were reluctant to show Steve Jobs everything but they had to because of the owners of the company said so.

Well, yes Xerox was first with graphical UI, but it was not done so well in comparison with mac os and windows. They had the opportunity but they spoiled it.

  • @Hunkola Apple paid them, and if you pay to see something, it's not called "stealing".

  • @SimonSupermanTV --- If I pay to go see "Avatar" at the theater.....and then a year later I come out with a movie called "Avatar" about friendly aliens......I'm stealing.....how stupid are you ??

  • @Hunkola No, you're wrong.

You pay the directors of Avatar for copying their idea to make a (second) movie.

    And I'm this stupid: 6

  • @SimonSupermanTV --- Just because Jobs paid to see a demo of GUI at Xerox-PARC didnt mean he had the right to steal the idea for MacOS.....he still needed to file a new submission at the U.S. Patent Office......but he didnt.....he STOLE the idea

  • @Hunkola No... He... Paid... Dumb... Ass...

  • @Hunkola Wasn't it that Jobs was goin' to steal but Bill stole the first? Please someone who really knows say to me what the truth is (in facts, no opinions)

  • @alggorithm1 Or Bill stole what Jobs had stolen?

  • @Hunkola You can't rape the willing. Xerox gave away their GUI.

  • @patriotofliberty1776 --- Xerox PARC engineers arranged a meeting with Jobs to show him GUI and Ethernet and hoped they would collaborate with Apple on new products ---- but he stole the ideas all for himself ---- Jobs is nothing but a greedy THIEF

  • He really works that Apple II at 0:48 lol

  • so, bill gates stole de windows idea inside o.s. from steve... -.-

  • @RUKALION Yes but steve stole it from xerox

  • Steve Jobs looks so suave and cool in this trailer, and Gates comes across as an angry nerd. LOL

  • there is no relation between this and the social network. You are compairing apples with hammers.

  • Not better than The Social Network. But still very good. People have this idea that you have to either love one or the other and then hate the opposite. Don't get it.

  • they should end the trailer with the scene where steve jobs asks an interviewee, "are you a virgin?"

  • what a shit movie

  • @GuNoZidE clearly a linux user, LOL

  • @BathingApeCOD More like Black Hat ;)

  • I can't understand it. My friend said that Bill Gates stole the OS from Steve Jobs.

Can you summary the film, please?

  • @MidnightRedemption My teacher said the exact same thing. is it true?

  • @Fjerid Bill didn't steal anything, it's just that their visions were similar. No one knew Microsoft was working on an OS, so when it was finally seen, it looked similar to what Apple created. But what happened was that they both bet on GUI being the next paradigm shift in computing for the home user, so when Apple saw Microsoft's work, they accused them of stealing, assuming that only themselves knew what was going to get big.

  • @dchains so it's like that. it does make sense.

  • @dchains well not realy...apple buyed gui from xeroxs , microsoft steal from apple that same software and change....

  • @numerocro That's incorrect actually, Xerox opened their doors to all media and press to check out the Xerox Alto which inspired Steve Jobs and Apple into thinking that the GUI interface was the next paradigm shift in computing, Apple didn't buy anything.

Apple was first into the market to release a machine with a GUI (Lisa), but it failed and didn't get big till 1984 when the Mac was launched. Microsoft followed suit in 1984 by released a GUI version of DOS, aka Windows. How did anyone steal?

  • some of the scenes here in this trailer is not in the movie. am i right?

  • those two are incredibly hot, cute and sexy and i love dr carter

  • thumbs up if you think that "Pirates of the Silicon Valley" is better than "The Social Network".

  • @ganulu3 Are you kidding me?! PoSV is good but it's just a TV movie that pales in comparison to what David Fincher did with The Social Network.

  • Comment removed

  • @ganulu3 Facebook sucks!

  • I'd love to remake this into an international theatrical movie. Since 'the social network' I'd love audiences to learn about the amazing story behind the personal computers and consumer electronics they use today.

  • @HHGFHJGFHJGFJTYFJDGY you wont find a better cast than this and these two are pretty old guys now so they wouldny be believable as twenty-something-years old now

  • Bill Gates is a frickin' Genius!

He sold the entire world on using an inferior product and made billions.

    He basically stole his empire.

  • @creativebuzz so hes like every company's ceo then

  • knowing nerds this is not what happened : )

  • @DanFrederiksen geeks* there's a difference...
