I've got to agree about push-pull lenses. They are great! I have a very old EF 35-105 f/3.5-4.5 push-pull that I absolutely love. And when the money comes about, I'll add the 100-400! Thanks for the great video! :)
I played with this lens on the 7D in the shop and it felt like that is how all lenses should zoom. The twist zoom is different on some brands, so going from "Twist right to zoom in" to "Twist left to zoom in" is odd and takes forever to get used to, but with the push and pull you get used to it exceptionally quick.
@Calvinkoolz Have you tried one? Because i didn't think that i would, but i love it now! Even felt weird to go back to original turn zoom on the 70-200mm after a while using the push pull
@simons88 no i've never used one but i've seen people use, its a pretty popular lens! I've seen some pictures on Flickr though from people who use this, i'd say it has the same IQ as any other L lens
@fullboxxskater The other 400mm lens is an f/2.8 prime, where this is f/5.6 at 400mm. By having a much smaller maximum aperture, the lens barrel itself can be made smaller. For example, look at the 70-200mm lineup Canon has. The 2.8s, with or without IS, are much wider around than the f/4 versions, all down to that maximum aperture

@AllisonIvan5016 So nice of you to post a scam/spam link here. Buyer beware, don't go there, it'll only fill the spammers pockets with money.

Which is better, the 70 - 200mm or the 100 - 400mm?

I want one of these but I use Nikon at the moment so it's just the fact that I'd have to buy a Cannon body as well as the lens :(

You made me cry I want this lens so bad.
As a say, "new comer" to photography, do have any tips on marketing or how I should start off in selling my images?
I have decided officially I do not want to use any stock websites because I absolutely do not wish to give up copyright to my images.
I am a huge avian photographer and really want this lens but I'm broke.
So do you have any tips to help me build up money for this lens...
I am twelve so try to think within that age limit thanks,
Xavier
