@stewart452 Yes you can hook the MPC up to A Mac. You will need a midi interface. If you hook it up this way it will only transmit midi data to the Mac. Therefore the Mac is actually making the beat. And we'll be saved on the Mac. If you have the MPC hook up through the live sound out puts or stereo out it is a good idea If you are useing the Mac's sound card if you want to keep that beat and make changes you will need to save it as: all sequences and songs and all programs and sounds.

on the mpc2000 can ui hook it up to a mac and once ur done wit the beat can u only save it on the floppy or how else can you save it
