yr a great rider :DD one really helpful tip is when you are jumping spend about 1/2 hour lunging to let them release the 'bucking' energy. If you cant, then do lots of circles round the jump until you fell horse begin to soften and then take it over the jump. If it stills bucks remember to keep your hands up high to stop her being able to do it BTW your horse i really pretty :)

You're a great rider and very solid in the saddle. Try to stay up out of the saddle and in your 2pt position longer after the jump, let her finish jumping with her hind end and then sit up. Your 3pt position is lovely and you have a very natural seat on your horse. Practice a following auto release and a longer 2pt, and I bet that will help with those post-jump bucks. Well done!

@orvilleboi after you ride enough, and do the proper excercises, your legs get stronger and seat gets sturdier... so you dn't have to worry about falling... but when they do freak out, stop them and back them up five paces, every single time, they will learn that you are in charge and you do NOT take that kind of crap. they learn pretty quickly if you stay on top of it.

Single joints can poke in the roof of the mouth especially with a martingale. A thick 'JP french link snaffle' available from Weatherbeeta might solve your problems!  This is a top quality horse and I'm sure you will do well with her. I hope you do not mind me making the suggestion.

obviously she is a bit fresh, but the saddle is clearly on top of her shoulder blades, she may be more comfortable with the tack properly placed? She can be sensible it seems, just sometimes gets airborne... Try placing your saddle about 5-6 cm back (behind the scapula) and see if that either A) helps her quiet down or B) really gives us a brilliant air show because of the freedom of movement!

Great job just riding that horse! At my age, I couldn't even think about riding a horse that even THINKS about bucking or rearing. Love my sweet mare who has energy but no buck or rear in her. She's clumsy, so she knows she would just fall over if she bucked! lol. When you're young, if you fall off you may break something, but when you're old like me.. if you fall off... you splatter!!
