@kerethan but what are you doing taking a stretcher up and down stairs? or i presume you mean 1 or 2 steps? we use these but to take anybody up/down stairs we use a chair or very very rarely a board but most people walk..
I hate that stretcher so much. My department go those recently, and I really hate them. So I always end up using our old 1995 ambulance so that I don't have to use that.

They look nice, and definately more durable, but I still prefer the older metal models..(not the 2man lol)

Their awesome until you need to haul its whopping 100 pounds plus your patient down the stairs...
