Roland electronic drum sets come with that like module thing and then there is a midi output where you can hook up your Rock Band/ Guitar Hero World Tour drums, then like program it to the module. It's cool sauce.

Replaced the wires in his drum kit with the ones from his Rockband kit then wired them together with his Xbox drum kit brain thingy in the kit. (motherboard)
