  • what's the diode power, red and green ones?

  • @argomax1 Around 100mW @ 532nm and 225mW o@ 655nm. I've got a little more than that now. :D

  • @hightechstuff2

i guess it's 100 mw on the green then, and 225 on the red.

  • @argomax1 right, 532nm = green and 655nm = red.

  • cool song, cool laser light ,cool you YESS

  • How many lasers are in that?

  • Only two. One red and one green. I have full color now though. Check out some of my newer videos.

  • wow

  • thats awesome

  • Thanks! It's much better in full color analog. Gonna have to post some updated video soon.

  • very nice done! love this show :) ok the music isnt the best ;P but its a nice laser and well programed show :)

  • this track sucks balls! Turn it off!

  • Don't watch the video or turn the sound off. Pretty easy problem to solve if you ask me.

  • and one more question.

What is the full name of hat track?

it sounds better than the origional version of that :D

  • "Turn the Beat Around" (track 7) from Gloria Estefan's Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Epic EK 66205

  • is it possible to control a laser with your computer through some sort of DMX to USB/FireWire/Ect. Connection

  • Yes, all of the above including Ethernet. My particular setup uses a PCI card installed in a small laptop docking station. From there a DB-25 cable runs from the PCI card to the laser projector. Their are many different possible configurations based on the type of hardware though.

  • God I'm jealous. Wish I could afford one of those lasers. They're so amazing!

  • Yeah, It's not an inexpensive hobby however you can get in fairly cheap with a little electronics know how. Start off wit a set of 10K galvos and amps with a green DPSS laser and an inexpensive software/controller package. If your good with electronics and are willing to hunt around you can get started for under $500.

  • That's pretty interesting. Can they be DMX controlled? However I'm fairly new to the whole do it yourself electronics. Will it require soldering?

  • Yes, my system and most simple controllers will have DMX input. A lot of the extremely inexpensive controllers require soldering like the Norms Laser Show DAC (no DMX). I could sell you my old NLS DAC for $50 if your interested. The software is free. Check out the Photon Lexicon forum if you want to get into this hobby. Lots of excellent info there and the members are always very helpful.

  • Nice Show!!!

  • Thanks! It's much better in person. The video doesn't do it justice.
