  • @EMTgirl104, Jonathan Melvoin who was the keyboardist for the 'Pumpkins died of a heroin overdose apparently, and not of aids, my bad.

  • is he rockin' his jammies???

  • Billy looks a bit like Private Pyle's in this video

  • Poetic...

  • ma si può andare in giro vestiti cosi? che voi fa, so ameri-cani (love pumpkins :-))

  • @dreavilheadtz credo che fosse il tour in cui indossavano il pigiama per la prima parte del concerto

  • the best

  • favorite sp song

  • Choosing between this version, the demo version, and the album version is like choosing between your children. All are amazing in different ways.

  • beautiful melodies there...Smashing Pumpkins and The Cure are my most treasured in my music library... :))))

  • "We will do a set of Pantera covers." I'd kinda like to see that.

  • hahaa aww :))

  • this vid is one of my favs. wish i could have been there for a real SP concert. im such a 90s kid but i was too young to go to the shows. boo. glad i made NIN 5 times. he was still going yay!

  • this is the same man that would one day wear a silver-plated dress onstage, lend his likeness to a Guitar Hero game, and play with a backing band of complete nobodies and call it "The Smashing Pumpkins". fuck this decade

  • The Smashing Pumpkins have always dressed strangely, before Siamese Dream they were all a bunch of nobodies, and it's an innocent a video game.

  • @TehZombie The original Smashing Pumpkins started off as nobodies in the first place. I don't doubt that their old material is way better than their new material, but I'm also not going to criticize him too harshly. Egos clashed in the old band, a member died from aids, and both of these factors alone are enough to break apart an amazing band. Many of us miss the old Smashing Pumpkins, but at least we have the stellar music they made before their departure. In memory of that, I'll still enjoy.

  • @Insertdice What member died of aids?!?!

  • what a godly song

  • I want a real smashing pumpkins reunion. I believe in my heart it will happen one day. Those guys were great together, they had their arguements and I know this is stupid coming from just a fan and all but I could sense something special in interviews that brought the 4 of them together I am sure they all still feel something for each other

  • I have to find this video again. I have the VHS somewhere in Minnesota and bought it a long, long time ago. The only problem is that I live in Korea now, the video is God knows where in a box in my parents attic, and I don't have a VHS player anymore. I actually miss VHS sometimes, but I wish I had this on DVD. Their performance on this video was great. Every song.

  • very great song !

  • i like this version more than the cd

  • @tmprogram I have to agree. This version is more intimate than the Mellon Collie version. They should have had a B-side with a more striped down version just like this. Good call there.

  • @fatcatbuzz no it shouldve been in the cd

  • @fatcatbuzz maybe it will be in the archives that will hopefully one day be released

  • Most beautiful song ever written

  • NO offense to anyone but Billy looks like a psycho killer.haha:D

  • the story of my life RIGHT NOW... and the phrase pressed up to the glass also fits perfectly with something that happened to me not so many days ago

  • 2:47 is one of the most beautiful melodies Billy has ever recorded. I love this song!

  • You are right, but what about 4:21?

WOW, 2 best melodies Billy recorded and in the same song!!!

  • @pollitorsiones Yea it is great, but the one at 2:47 is my favourite because of that mystic feel, the uncertainty of love, it just suits the song soo much. This song is probably the most appropriately titled songs in history lol

  • thx for posting this vid! you rock!

  • SP LIVES FOREVER!

  • Lovely Rita meter maid

  • so do I...I love 2:50...love SP and i´m really waiting them in Brazil...thanks by the video...love this song a lot...

  • 4:02 makes me cry

  • what a beautiful version.

  • really beautiful 2:50 !

  • if billy were an animal he'd be a turtle

  • mm I think a bear better. Billy Corgan reminds me the singer of an animated band hiting strong here in Italy not being a million dollar production. Search for SWAVE IN THE FUTURE

  • the smashing pumpkins and the beatles are the 2 greatest bands to ever exsist and probaly will ever exsist

  • He sings "I'll be under your stairs, forever" in this version. =)

  • he used to be so full of passion. his vocals were so inspiring. his guitar playing...so melodic. times have changed, i guess

  • I have to agree with you- but I think his passion is coming back now. I went to one of the 6 shows he just did with Dave Navarro, Mike Byrne and the others and it was fantastic. His inspiration seems to be coming back! I don't know if his new album could ever be as good as say Mellon Collie (but what could beat that album?), but so far as to what I've heard it is an improvement from Zeitgeist. I still find Billy such a fascinating person, and am always happy to see what he does next.

  • I think the inspiration was there even for Zeitgeist, it just lacked direction, and still does.

  • @baccaratfool heart break changes people

  • ive always thought that this song belonged on siamise dream. beautiful song

  • @Guitartod420... that exactly what i thought, i imagine this song right after soma

  • (dan ma sei tu!!! XD)

  • ahah così sembrerebbe!!^^ (vecchi video che avevo caricati quì sù, ai tempi che furono, per farli vedere ad anna prima di postarli sul canale bcit ;)

but yeah I totally agree with you, it's amazing!

  • this is pure love :)

  • holy shit

  • ITS BEEF SUPREME!!!

  • Love it then! Love it now! Love it always!

  • More than beautiful...

  • I would have to agree, this is by FAR the best version of this song I have heard! I didnt care too much for the album version until I brought the Mellin Collie and the Infinite Sadness tour of SPs. I have played this song to death over and over. Billy's incredible dreamy guitar riffs and vocals made this an instant fav of me. Thanks for posting this one, love this song! ^^

  • amazing!

  • 4:00 ~ 5:03

the most beautiful tune ever made
