Backup vocals by Brenda Holloway ("When I'm Gone", "You Make Me So Very Happy", last one written by her) and her sister Patrice, btw (that's also them on "The Old Laughing Lady").
A gibberish laden storm of caterwauling, unharmonic guitar screeching and high-pitched whining, more worthy of a transgendered trollop pushed into a gutter after swallowing gallons of cum from multiple wayward gentlemen enjoying a night of depraved abandon in several of the seedier establishments on the dark outskirts of the shining city on the hill.
James!! Scuttle your way to me quickly now, man!
Bag that cat Nelly Young tonight. Here's a stout bat. Beat the daylights out of her!
I knew this LP in the 70's and felt the song could be biographical about me. I sure was rolling along doing it wrong. Neil brought me much comfort and joy during those confusing, awkward years.
I love this too and multi-colored Neil is so very Cool .....Jack Nitzsche esp, and Dave Briggs, Ry Cooder. Neil plays pipe organ, harpsichord , piano, synthesizer, and of course guitar on this great album.
I love this this song so much beautiful and one of the coolest old Neil songs flute and all orchestral wush so good, I loved her so long too, thank you dear Vel, this songs you can send me any day of the darn week ok?
like what ya did with the album cover

Hard to imagine the music critics dismissing this so easily, at least until, "Harvest," then all the critics wanted a piece of Neil.
"So all you critics sit alone. You no better than me, for what you've shown.
With all your jokes? and your hook and ladder dreams, we could get together for some scenes."
Peace.

How did you get this past WMG? I tried to upload Emperor of Wyoming last night and they blocked it to the public? Any tips?

The cover art for Neil's debut solo album looks like fellow Canadian Joni Mitchell's work.
