  • so did you take any of the pics? if soo great photos love the ACe's :)

  • go Union Pacific

  • I love UP

  • Great pictures. Live in FLA. Trains roll by fast here, but not a lot of different land scapes.

  • awesome video

  • Woah @ 2:40 how many Locos?

  • Great shots, along with a great song. GO UP!

  • Long live UP!

  • What's going on @ 0:24?

  • Great photos and song ;) "railpictures" is fantastic ;)

  • 1:38 SOUTHERN PACIFIC LOCO AT THE END!!! I model SP... And i have vowed that one day I will avenge SP.

  • UP has a very good public image and a great paint scheme! "But", i have read more than once that they are hard on employee's and are very anti Union, in & out of court all the time for employee mistreatment. I also read they pay crews much less than BNSF and other Roads? The Building America sound & looks great, but like so many companies they want plenty for nothing. I would like to see the return of a "Real Middle-Class". Maybe Build America again from the true Middle-Class Family and up!

  • Great video and audio as well.

  • sooooooooooo...why hasn't UP sold Tennesee pass yet and left it to rot.

  • @skinnyshit8888 Well they have stored coal cars and other kind of freight cars on the mainline at Texas Creek and some other spots. But I dont know why they havent sold. They should sell to a company that makes a tourist train and runs freight trains to interchange with the UP.

  • @SP4449BN9444 I think they also want to keep it as a backup main for the other transcons incase something happens to them. It would come in mighty handy if some natural disaster wiped out lower-elevation routes

  • @SP4449BN9444 That would be perfect for the Royal Gorge Railroad to use.

  • @SP4449BN9444 They haven't sold it yet because they feel it might see be of use someday. The alternate route, via the Moffat Tunnel has way too many tunnels to consider fixing it for double stacks, so if that is the case, the Tennessee Pass might be an option. While it looks today that it isn't needed, the BN said the same thing about Stempede Pass and they had to buy it back 15 years later.

  • @skinnyshit88888 Because if the sell it they loose a backup if something happens to the Moffat which is near capacity with 25 trains a day, If they sell it BnSF would be the most likely buyer and they would get a direct route between Texas and the Colorado coal fields, if they abandon it the state of Colorado would take control before rail could be removed in order to preserve the corridor, and they are planning to use the Minturn Yard to store coal cars because its near the point of use.

  • @skinnyshit8888 i live in west Tn i use to see UP but now just CSX i miss UP

  • Great video!Super!

  • um sorry dude i dont underrstand lol

  • a move of engines and no cars from point A to point B

  • at 2:39 that's a dead line : (

  • @Mephilesthedark360 damn!!! so much engines

  • That is unreal isn't it? over 100 locomotive in 1 picture ready to be sold or scrapped

  • If you look at some pictures in Minneapolis (I think) BNSF has used the old intermodal yard tracks for storing ex. ATSF Dash 8's, Dash 9's and sd75M's, and ex. BN sd60M's

  • Correct with the new GEVO and the SD70ACE BNSF has no use for those locomotives BNSF is retiring the Dash 8 SD75I and SD60M's and the SD70MAC's will take over the SD60M jobs as DPU

  • cool vid..why so much engines at 2:39??? thanks..

  • It was probably a power move

  • what is a power move?

  • What type of paint scheme is that at 2:30?

  • That is the Olympic Torch engines that where used to haul the Olympic train around the United States to the Olympics in 2000 to Salt Lake City They are #2001, #2002 the two units where stationed in Rock Springs Wyoming as switchers for about 6 weeks which I have some pictures of them they are pretty cool to look at by the way

  • Very nice! Union Pacific had been around since the transcontinental railroad and still strives today. I believe that the American flag on the locomotives symbolizes a lot.

  • O ya it does thats why every UP engine Im probably going to get will have the flag

  • Nice UP stuff.

  • very nice!
