Well I mean given the history of the Philippines, I assumed they hated the Spanish, the Japanese, and the Americans. Just one of those things. I mostly hear of nothing but contempt for the Japanese in Asia. The first time I listened to this song I thought "Bof, this is a bit plain one", but after listening several more times I started liking it.

Asuka is a good singer, she deserves more success. As a former Hinoi Team fan I gave her a chance and bought her "Asu he no Hikari" single. "Kimi ga ita baisho" is still my favourite song from her.

I hope she will release another major single soon.
