There's a line that should be corrected
It should read
The woodlarks sing,the croakers dance
He's speaking about the Mulloway. They are a species of fish along the southern coastline of Australia from Shark Bay in Western Australia to north of Brisbane in Queensland.
They emit a "croaking" noise
