my Diamond was more trained...he trusted us however that Amazon (green one) is only interested in EATING and will eat from my hand and do nothing else...outrageous!!!!

@mayuran95 That's because the bird cage is their territory. They feel like they have control when your hand is in the cage. Keep a treat handy when they're out of the cage.

I dont have the budgies anymore. At a time i had a group of five al tamed and the two of the video haven even bred. but they became to loud for the livingroom so i gave them away to live in an aviary.

Now i have 2 linnies that i cant seem to train because theire shy and i havent got so many time

Oh! I love how they wave! I have my parakeet BLoo watching this, and I tried wiggling my finger to make her wave..but all she did was hop on! It's probably hard to get a parakeet to learn tricks, let alone two of them! They are adorable! =)

I had 2 budgies a blue one and a green, my green one, lauara is still alive today, and is very active, and very cute, but zeek the blue one died from stress, he was very timid of humans, and I tried to break that habbit. but now laura flys on my head and greets me when im on the computer, she's so cute!

budgies are fat? I've had 5 of them, and the one that was the most active I think was underweight. I had a hard time getting him to become a little heavier.

But yeah, I agree that they die pretty young. They are susceptible to so many toxins in the air as well. My most active budgie died from recurring respiratory problems.

Well a bugdie becomes VERY obese on a seed diet, and any bird on a seed diet (most birds are) live VERY short lives... compared if they were on a healthy diet and got excersize daily

i have to say most budgie dont live long because there just to fat and they get tumors in ther fat tissue i had one for 10 years that died from tumors that budgie was also very fat now my birds are on a diet and they have an room avairy with a nesting box so maybe they wil breed some time:)
