well the bass drum with the double pedal on it has axis E-kit triggers on it, look at 2:01-2:20 he uses the left kick drum and that obviously has no triggers listen to it, then he goes to his right kick drum and that has triggers, obviously.
ive never got a solid answer as to why he has 2 bass drums and a double bass pedal. Is it for looks? does he want a different sound sometimes? help me out here
he has a double pedal going to the right kick which is tuned deeper and has much more attack which is better for the heavy stuff, and he uses the single pedal on his left bass drum which is tuned higher and uses it for more mellow beats and stuff. i hope this is a good enough answer haha
@Pandanobear He triggers his right bass drum, and tunes the other bass drum almost like a jazz drummer would. He does it for versatility with his kit instead of just being limited to the standard double triggered bass drum
whats the name of the song hes playin ?

Haha, just what I was about to say DreamTheater. The production/mix is not too good overall anyway.
