I knew she really felt that way. A good friend of mine use to call me pink, say that most BM would go for me because I was light and deep down I could tell she disliked me for it. Yeah, I agree with you that some of the girls were labeled incorrectly. Stacey Dash is lighter than the photo they had in the video. Keisha Cole's beautiful skin has a richer tone than Stacey's. ;) The different shades of cocoa....mmmmmmm.

To say there is only one shade of white (or as you put it "only one type of white") is pure ignorance. @Referral123 I've visited some of the northern nations of Europe and have seen slight differences in the tones especially when you go from Iceland to the tips of Russia... there are differences amongst the Caucasian population. I knew she really felt that way. A good friend of mine use to call me pink, say that most BM would go for me because I was light and deep down I could tell she disliked me for it. Even if God changed my skin tone to white I will always refer to myself as African American or black. Most light skninned blacks (including many ridiculous indians and sri lankans who confusely refer to themselves as caucasians) are ashamed of themselves as black even though many of them are very dark. Thanks for the video, I got the point, and it needed to be said. but I have to disagree that black people are broken down into 4 categories of shades. This is wrong, and if you really think that house slaves had it as bad as field slaves, you just might be delusional. More research is needed when recounting chattel slavery in America on your part. @Referral123 Not necessarily. I've seen whites who are whiter than white (porcelain pale). In fact there are make-up for such skin tones (porcelain pale, pale, ivory, translucent.. etc). To say there is only one shade of white (or as you put it "only one type of white") is pure ignorance. The problem with some of this persons categorization, is that he/she does not realize lite skinned people can tan. Look at a video of me from summer and I look 2 or three shades darker than I do in my latest two video's.

Very soon there will be a "chicken black race". You guys should e proud of yourselves. there are different kind of people in every race.. There are different varieties of asians but you dont hear an asian call himself biracial or mixed which would actually mean the asian doesnt really want to be called an asian. Thats why a lot of whites folks think blacks are not united or maybe they hate themselves because a lot of black folks do not admit being black. They create new word terms to call themselves. words that arent exactly black or even black related as to disassociate themselves from blacks making it look like blacks dont agree with themselves or stand united.. While other races appear to be directly sincere..

the problem is also that sumtimes black people dont even want to accept u then wat?? wen i was little girls used to pick on me all the time & say i was conceited just because of the way i looked so i never had a problem w/ being black but other black people...also in asia lighter skinned people are also placed on a pedestal look at all the skin bleaching used in asia to say other races are more sincere is ridiculous all people have issues...

@RobertsDigital You have to understand that it is the direct result of the term "black" being an oxymoron in itself. How can I be black, if I my skin color is the same as Vin Diesel? Black people should be called something else, not black. It's dumb, it implies that you have to be atleast brown in order to be black. I have no problem with it, but it's quite confusing when some black people tell me and treat me like I'm not black and others do, same with other races. It's one huge mindfuck for me

@RobertsDigital actually a hispanic person can be a black person there are black cubans & dominicans & columbians...blacks can be considered a culture & also a race & if u are mixed why should u have to only claim the black side? this is just taking it back to the "one drop" rule...also if u study genetics youll learn that their are "black' people walking around who possess more white dna than black...and their are "whites" walking around with black dna...i say it doesnt matter we're all human

There is no such fucking thing as carmel, it is just light brown. A few of those light browns in your video are actually light skinned. Bronzer and self tanner is a trickster my friend. I use them all the time in the summer to look " light brown". I have seen Mariah Carey look dark as hell thanks to bronzer/paints/makeup..I think your videos are full of misinformation. You have a long ways to go.

Light brown skin is NOT light skin. Light-skinned is someone like Faith Evans, Mariah Carey, Jasmine Guy, Lisa Bonet, and Alicia Keys. THAT'S light skin. Light brown skin has more tan than light skin. For example, Beyonce is light-brown skinned. She has some color in it. Educate yourself. Dark SKin is Wesley Snipes, Taye Diggs, Dimon Hisou or whatever his name is, etc,

the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice...haha. but seriously, im more attracted to darker women, but thats not to say they are in anyway better than anyother. its just my personal preferrance. that doesnt becaome a problem until i try to force that opinion onto somebody else or start tryin to say that all dark ladies are better or more beautiful than any other skin tone. unless you have less depth than a kiddy pool, at least half the reason you are attracted to someone is based on

Most of the lightskin people in the video seemed to be mixed/bi-racial, like really really light. I agree with you that most lightbrown and caramel folks are not lightskin but most people would consider Lauren London and Beyonce to be lightskin.

I mean I know black folks who CALL themselves black and so do all the ppl they can trace in the history and they're lightskinned like lisa bonet...which is a lot different from Mariah Carey's and Lisa Bonet (even if to a lesser extent).
