thats fucked up. when people get evicted here the state removes the person and takes there belongings and puts them in storage for like 3 monthes, they pay the fee and get there stuff back. at least you dont lose everything. did she ever get her things out???

I am Lenise Forrest. I wish that I was able to explain in depth the situation. I was mistreated in this case. I am doing very well today ! After the eviction I stayed with a friend while looking for a new place.I found my own apartment 21/2 months after the eviction. My words on the most horrible day in life is God don't make any mistakes. I will celebrate this day coming soon I was shaking but not broken !!! GOD IS AWESOME.

hmmm. i thought that closing up cabrini was supposed to make everything better! (sarcasm). turns out they are just kicking people out in the street like they did 11 months ago in this video. and now it's cold december and the last families have been kicked out of the the last buidling.

How were those cops going to prevent that kid from being shot?

I agree that the woman should have been able to get her things out of her house.  Even though she probably had plenty of notice and refused to follow the order, she should have been able to get her things, and I really hope that things are better for her now. But the cops couldn't do anything to stop that kid from being shot. I hope he was ok!

If anybody can relate to this story is me, who was

in a similar situation once back in '02.And lost just

about everything because of some ''MALICIOUS'',

black-hearted, pennie-annie landlord, who failed

to negotiate a problem that could have been resolved. I hope things get better for Lenise Forrest and her family.
