This is a great fanmade trailer, even if it's just bits from many movies. The only one that seems out of place is the Arnold Terminator one--yet he does remind me of Gunther Hermann. He has the accent, the huge build, and the Terminator skeleton kind of look like his older augmentations.

Matt Damon would make a good JC cause I think he can pull off the look. And they *should* make Deus Ex movies.

Really... I don't know why they haven't made Deus Ex the movie. I really don't. It would make a GREAT movie!! It really would! Great story, great characters, there's even a song CALLED Deus Ex Machina now by NACHTMAHR which might be useful for an action scene, but I'd want Velvet Acid Christ to be in charge of the music. I think he'd be great at coming up with some music for the movie... especially in the dance club scenes. Go look up Caustic Disco, he's very popular in the darker music scene.

Why are you guys talking about casting major Hollywood actors in a film that wont be made? Even if they will do a good job, I really dont want to see faces ive seen a bajillion times in other movies. It will distract from the immersion. I say cast people that arent well known. Im sure there are plenty of excellent actors that havent reached super-star popularity yet.

I think if they ever did make a movie they should tone down on the wacky futuristic elements. The nanoswords and greys make for good gameplay but could really kill a Deus Ex movie.

Yeah, but they were such a tiny part of the game. The Grey's were more like an easter egg. The sword is still pretty functional, and serves to highlight the cyberpunk themes.

With all the war that is raging, the terrorist threats everywhere, the advance of science and technolgy, the stronger Aids virus spreading... I firmly believe that this is the right moment to release a Deus Ex film. People have stopped staring at "The Matrix" for a while, but Deus Ex is all but the world and the moment we are living, and with the right production and the right cast this film could be huge.

Clive Owen is a sick actor, but if you want a perfect game-movie match, you gotta have Brad Pitt (or someone else) with longer slicked back hair. The problem was, "they" (Columbia Pictures) actually TRIED or WANTED to make a DeusEx Movie, but May 2004 they stopped it, no one knows why. Some say because the actual Gmae designers Harvey Smith and Warrens Spector had other things to do, and Ion Storm was suspended by the new company Eidos

Oddly enough I think Deus Ex would be more properly done as a mini series than as a movie. A movie would cut it for both the philosophy and action parts of the game.
