Great Staying-Power songs; every bit as great now as when heard in Ft. Riley, Arlington,I've a weak spot for the Dakotas (even Brian Epstein crush BJK): all those great John-Paul tunes passed out like party favors w/o commercially recording them themselves. The Dakotas were a GREAT band when it came to sounding like "if you can't have JPG&R, here's something almost as good". Unique way of conveying a sense of what The Lads would have done with the tunes. Thanks for the post. You know who I am.
