The problem is that you can't use a strat on a song that was played with a Les Paul and by a guy that has a larger than life guitar sound, that being Zakk Wylde. Like him or not, you can pick him out of a million other players. Even today, Gus G is doing all of Zakk's licks and not changing them much because he knows they made those songs.

Yeah it sucks Zakk's not there, but anyone know off the top of there head who got this song started? It was Mike Inez, who wrote the bass line for the song and Ozzy and everyone else wrote around it. The same Mike who later left Ozzys band to join the Mighty Alice in chains!!!

I am not saying Zakk sucks but to say this guy is not as good as Zakk is a joke. Joe Holmes has played with lots of great people and rips it up each time. He actually picked all the notes in the solo, something i never hear Zakk do the last several years he was with Ozzy before Gus G came along. Zakk is notorious for sucking at solos live.

Thank god for the keyboards. Jake E. Lee made Ozzy what he thinks he is today. He was drunk and told Jake he was gonna fire him so he had had enough and left. Ozzy is burnt out man and Zakk is sloppy enough he can stay to make something of himself. Jake was worth seeing and continued what Randy started.

No feeling at all...I personally think it's the strat putting a damperon it in addition to Holmes not to mention it's obvious he never really took the time to own it...it's not really a strat song. Longer scale than a Gibson=tighter strings, no pitch on the headstock=no sustain.

@kdjdhdbdb not entirely true. Jake was incredibly unhappy when he was off tour. He was an asshole yes......but ozzy was always drugged up. One night he got rele bad and fired jake. Jake got sick of the fact that ozzy was always stripping him of his royalties and treating him like shit. So when ozzy got all drugged up.....mad.....and fired jake, jake refused to come back when ozzy begged him. It wasnt just the tribute album.....it was ozzy treating jake like shit like the rest of guitar players.
