this phone is a scam why would you compare a cheap 60 dollar phone to an Iphone. Shell out the money and buy a REAL iphone. Don't complain when you get something that is a fake, you get what you pay for and what you paid for was for crap..

I got my iphone, from att for 99 as an upgrade-refurbished- but in great condition.. wow when you paid 30 something dollars less, yea I can see where you got the better deal(SMH) Be smart people get the real deal.

Looks like a clone of a Sciphone. There are many. The real ones are made by CEPT in Shentzen China. The i68 4G really rocks and is superior to the Apple iPhone in many ways (twin sims, radio, standard battery, etc. DO not buy any Sciphone clones!

Man, I've just paid for one :) ... for $55 and taking into account that it is dual sim, I think it's worth the money. When I'm abroad I need to have 1 local operator card and my card, so for $55 this phone seems realy great. But hopefully it will work more than 3 months! :)) I've read in some reviews that some clones aren't so fiable.

i think u got a clone of the sciphone. check the back of the phone to see if the 2 lines of number are the same. if its real then only 1 number from the lines are off but the rest should look the same. since u only paid so little for it, u cant expect it to be like a real iphone or anywhere close. if u want something close to an iphone get the ciphone c6, those r around 3bills.

A really entertaining review! I agree with your summation that the Sciphone is a basic phone with a touchscreen. I have managed to get Internet access on my Sciphone and this is another point in favour.

The big touchscreen gives a far better browsing experience than non-touchscreen phones. The inbuilt browser is 'shite' so I use Opera Mini 4.2 (a Java app). It takes over 30 seconds to start up, and is a bit sluggish, but it's far better than non-touchscreen phones with tiny screens.

As you said, nothing is easy on the SciPhone...

At least you have gotten an 'original' SciPhone so this should work for you to get rid of the bloody chimes when starting and shutting down:

Profiles -> Options -> customize -> Tone setup -> Power on and off to Silent (finaly)

also when in customize go to Extra tones and turn off all extratones.

Very entertaining one shot review and it shows most of the problems the regular phone has (for me 2 sims work fine).
