  • Excellent and very interesting video Paul

  • @Theoscense1 Thank you, I get lots of love for this video from Sprinter owners who are a little frightened maybe of doing this job. Its not so difficult, any one can do it with a little patience and understanding.

Many thanks Javier - Happy new year. :-)

  • @Bevoin1970 The best thing for you also in 2012 Paul, greetings friend

  • you are tops. encouraged me to post stuff that may be usefull to even one person. cheers.

  • @gkims2000 Thats how I started, now look how many videos I have done... ha ha

  • Just bought 10 alphabet books on behalf of you for helping me out with the vid. The books will go to Liberia, Uganda or Sierra Leone (whichever needs them most atm.).

The message I sent to the charity organization: "On behalf of Bevoin1970 for helping me out!"

  • @tucfinland Wow! Im impressed, have a drink on me, you deserve it... Cheers :-)

  • does it not have auto adjust on that adjuster?

  • @lezbriddon No not on this set up, some people take the easy route and adjust the cable itself rather than the shoes.

  • home maintenance is not dead!

people down my street look down on me for doing ALL my own repairs while they are as thick as s**t and even pay for ''servicing''!

Oh how I hate them, class wars are not dead round here....

  • @lezbriddon Im glad to hear that, good on you I say. I don't see any reason to go pay £80 per hour for some bloke to change my air filter, or oil and filter, not on basic jobs like those. I do use a Mercedes guy these days, but thats only because he has the laptop to reset my service clock and clear any faults etc.If its only basic maintenance and Im capable of doing it, then I will. The world is full of idiots for sure, I meet them every day... lol :-)

  • THANK YOU! Awesome that people do this kind of stuff.

  • @tucfinland Thats ok, Im glad it served to help you out, Merry Christmas :-)

  • @Bevoin1970 Not only did my van pass the inspection with the help of this video, it did it with flying colours. Almost perfect balance between left and right brake and I saved about 100€ compared to taking the car to a shop. Merry christmas!

I will make a donation to help the misfortunate of the world on behalf of you to keep the good thing going on. :)

  • @tucfinland Now the fact you saved around 100 euros is music to my ears, thats what its all about, keeping owner/driver costs down. Im pleased that your pleased. You just made my Christmas... ha ha

Hope 2012 goes just as well for you. Merry Christmas. :-)

  • Why am I thinking of The Weeding Singer (movie) when I see this video??

  • @legaspi89 Maybe your minds not on the job in hand.. LOL :-)

  • You are a star mate- I apprecait the advice and your time...take care

    Chris

  • Again many thanks-I assume you need to see the coolant near the top when filled-(like the car?) -:)

  • @foundationgood not to the brim, so long as it covers the fins inside when you peer in...

  • Blue Monday as the background song....NICE!!!

  • @24pfilms1 LOL Thanks :-)

  • Heya Bevoin1970, I need your expert advice again!!!!!-I think my Sprinter van 311 CDI van needs topping up with coolant (hitting 80%)...I don't know where to put the coolant. Could you explain where it goes please.

    Thanks :)

  • @foundationgood AS you stand looking at your engine with the bonnet up, you will immediately see the radiator in front of you, then on the right hand side of the radiator you will see an expansion tank attached to the radiator, remove that screw cap and add your coolant into that small black tank fixed to the radiator. Make sure your engine is cool though when you do it. Don't do it if the engine is hot!!!

  • my rear disc wont slide off any suggestions ? many thanks

  • @raymieb52 Its most likely the lip that has formed on the inside of the brake drum through wear. You need to adjust the brake shoes right off, as fas as they will go. Then just wiggle off the disc/drum as best you can.

  • Hi, I need yor advice again:) I often have trouble starting the van-some times it will stop and not start....I notice a red light under the speed omiter lights up :EDF. I don't know if this is some kind of warnig. I would appreciate any information. (it eventually starts after alot of turning the engine)

    Regards

    Chris

  • @foundationgood I've seen this before on my old van, sounds daft, but have you changed the diesel fuel filter lately? if no, then change it, also make sure you don't damage any rubber "O" rings on the fuel filter connections, otherwise your fuel pump will be sucking in air, not good, gives poor starting, and will usually be visible in the clear plastic fuel lines near the fan, you will see air bubbles rushing through the fuel pipe if the engine is running.

    Its a start, :-)

  • @Bevoin1970 Aww thanks, I got the light name wrong, it was the EDC red light and it comes on under the fuel gauge. As a point of interest I have ran the van out of fuel and run it low (on the yellow light) A LOT!!!!- Again many thanks, I will have a go at changing the fuel filter...:)

  • 7:03 DO NOT DO THIS....... if that shitty jack is anything like mine is ....turn the screw to lower more than a tiny tiny bit and the vehicle comes slamming down ,NEVER GO UNDER A VEHICLE TO LOWER UR JACK . reach under at arms length by all means or get/make a longer handle .

why dint u jack one side at a time and remove stand ,LAZYNESS GETS YOU KILLED.

nice video spoilt at the end by an act of stupidity/lazyness.

  • @RAT1969 Thanks for the feedback :-)

  • @RAT1969 Thanks for posting that RAT! Great piece of advice that us novices wouldn't maybe think about! Nice video Bevoin1970

  • Brilliant. Thank you for making this video. I like the way you've done it with actions and hand symbols. Hope the knuckle gets better :-)

  • @bigchrisrogers Well actions speak louder than words as they say, hopefully non english speaking people also get the jist of what Im doing too so everybody is happy in the end I hope. :-)

Thank you for your nice comments and feedback, its all very much appreciated.

Yes the knuckle mad a full recovery LOL :-)

  • how do yoy know which bolt to unfit?

  • @dpJamGreen I assume you mean the wheel bolts? - well you can take any one of them out, the important part is lining up the hole left from removing a wheel bolt and the brake adjuster itself, that can only be done by guess work and feel with a screwdriver. Its possible you may be able to shine a light inside the hole for a better view.

  • @Bevoin1970 Thank you. I should've understood it myself )

  • This is a great video. I don't know why anyone would give it a "dislike".

  • @WatchNoEvil There are all sorts of funny folk out there, who knows.... maybe it was a mistake, they got the wrong button... ha ha

Thanks for watching and a nice compliment too. :-)

  • Great how to video. I gotta do the Ebrake adjust on mine.. I'll leave the skin on my thumb though. Bet that hurt.

  • @cambriacity Ha Ha - Yes I recommend you don't bash your thumb up it hurts.... :-)

  • Great instructional video. 2 thumbs up!

  • @VolleKraft Thank you, Im pleased it was of some help to you :-)

  • are they not self-ajusting?

  • Great service video, thumbs up! On my b350, Bendix 12" X 3" drums I loosen the adjusters to save my brake shoes & retighten only for the inspection. This practice while not recommended, saves loads on rear brake jobs.

& sorry about your thumb ;)

  • @Begbucks I used to do that too.. ha ha - My thumb has healed up now, but at the time it sure made my eyes run.. LOL Thanks for watching :-))

  • @Bevoin1970 lol

  • thts a long way u dont even have take wheel off. 1 wheel nut off an u can get stught thro the hole to adjuster

  • @tommxtom Yes I know that, point is, Im showing you what it is your poking your screwdriver into, and what it is that your doing by turning the wheel. If you didn't know what the inside of this drum looked like you wouldn't have a clue what to do otherwise unless someone showed you.

There are a lot of people out there who don't know how to do this job, by watching what I do in this video, they can then do it for themselves, because now they are able to visualise whats happening.

  • Many thanks AGAIN for your advice and helpful tips. This has been so useful and saved my bacon.

    Regards.

    Chris

  • @foundationgood So glad you found it helpful, that was my whole intention when I made this film, makes you feel good when you accomplish something yourself and maybe saved a packet in the process, Its not difficult to do, a little fidddly maybe and some patience is needed, but well worth the effort.

    Good on you Chris :-)

  • You were rite it was a bit fiddly but I got there in the end cheers it was a job well done !

  • @fallonchops Im laughing to myself here, told it you would need a calm head and patience. Sure is fiddly, but very satisfying when you have completed it yourself.

Good on you and well done for having a go. :-)

  • Brill,I will let u no how I get on !

  • @fallonchops Good luck :-)

  • Can you show me how to change the

hand-break cable that connects between the rear wheels ,mine has just snapped ?

  • @fallonchops Sorry I can't - I don't own this vehicle any longer. What I can say is you will need to jack up and remove the disc / drum in the same way shown in the video, to get access to the end of the cable. Its a little fiddly but you will see once the drum is off, just how it fixes in place, so removing it and replacing with a new cable will become obvious once you start.

Its not difficult to do, you only need basic tools, plenty of time, patience, and a calm head.

    Hope this helps?

    Goodluck

  • can you show me how the hand puller connect to the rear wheel?

  • @ChanTongTam Sorry but no, I don't have this vehicle any more. I remember it was a little tricky to do at the time

  • wheres you find your tools? swap o rama? lol 1923 screwdriver

  • @SHANGRALAAAA17 Thats a dead mans screwdriver - cost me nowt and still works too.. :-))

  • I'm mechanic and I didn't know how to adjust the Sprinter e-brakes. Know I already learn how to do it, thank you sir.

  • @ghrialto Thank you , My pleasure :-)

  • great vid! The handbrake of my '98 w168 a160 automatically locks up when I want to drive in reverse :S Maybe a similar recheck would fix the problem. Thanks a lot!

  • @klaassegers Thats ok, my pleasure.

  • thanx a lot sir!!! now i know how to do it my self and save some cash... lee-24 years young... and im still lookin for more help from your videos...

  • @duhkify Thats what this video is all about, keeping the owner / driver going with limited funds and basic tools at hand.

Glad your having a go yourself, its not so difficult, maybe a touch fiddly lets say, yes you need a certain amount of patience, but it all pays off in the end.

    Thanks for watching. :-)

  • gooooooooooood

    IT IS HELP FULL

    THANKSSSSSSS

  • @tesonamy Thanks - Glad to be of service :-)

  • this I prefer over howcast. LOL

  • 4:22 Yeah that happens to me all the time im working mechanics. GREAT VIDEO!

  • @fm3081 Thanks - still friggin hurts tho every time I fall for it... ha ha

  • good video, not much verbal instruction but your hand actions and screen writing made up for it.. keep up the good videos

  • @Mulletcatass Thanks - Actions speak louder than words and not everyone understands what Im saying so I tended to keep my mouth shut... :-))

    Thanks for watching

  • I would invest in some more substantial axle stands if i were you mate, and also a torque wrench, especially where brakes/wheels are concerned.

Not criticizing or anything, just offering some advice.

  • @bandslater Thanks for the tips :-)

  • do you think this would work on a vito???

  • @freddyflaps Well its a Merc and if it has rear disc / drum set up similar to this I dont see why not. To be really sure you would have to remove the rear drum and take a look at whats inside, then judge for yourself.

  • Comment removed

  • Dont let this clown near your van, Dangerous chocking, Jack with a lump of wood ? Grandads Screwdriver, the only thing missing is a hammer.

Should you not of torqued the wheelnuts? Maybe I can teach you how do do it the Merc way.

  • @MrSprintercdi So do it then!! Mr I have no videos of my own to post, but will slag off others.

The chocking was fine and worked perfectly. The wood offered protection to the diff and gave me more height for the axle stands.

The screwdriver did exactly what I needed it to do, and yes I did have a hammer too somewhere, a big un as well.

We don't all have access to a fully kitted out Merc work shop, thats the whole point of this video, for the home mechanic - or don't you get that?

  • @Bevoin1970 I was not criticising you acting and filming is was very good indeed.

But although you showed the disc coming off, you know in the real world it never comes of like that, and that you didnt show the cam underneath, I dont have time to make videos, well not ones that are suitable for youtube.

I dont have a luxury workshop, I work from a van and always torque every bolt.

As there is nothing worse than trying to do a bolt someone has crammed up in an tight space.

  • @MrSprintercdi Thanks for replying - apologies for my outburst - Yes your correct about the disc/drum being difficult to remove, YT only give 10 mins to get in as much info as possible so I had to gloss over some parts in order to show what needs doing in basic terms. In hind sight I could make improvements, this video is for the owner/driver with limited funds and basic tools that most households will have around, even if they are Grandads tools. Most folk also dont own a torque wrench. Thx tho

  • I have an 06 Dodge Sprinter and it looks like my e-brake is held in one place (still holding the wheel) even though the handle is down. when i look under the van the brake wire is hanging just 6 or so inches from the ground ...is this what i should do?

  • @DUSHANMANGRUE Are you saying that when you release the hand brake lever to drive away, from underneath the van the cable is hanging down low and the brakes are still holding tight on the wheels? - If so then your brake cable is sticking some where and or your brake shoes are sticking on - either way you need to take a look down below and identify the problem. Might only be a silly thing, does need checking out though.

  • @Bevoin1970 yes it turned out the brake shoe were rusted probably because its never moved since winter o.o...took it to dodge this morning so it should be good for pick up tuesday

  • Why do you have a drum and caliper installation instead of just one of the two?

  • thanks for the video Bevoin1970.. when you adjust the e-brake shoes, do you let them touch the rotor slightly? or run completely free.

  • @sirjohnny1974 You set the brakes with the lever pulled up 2 clicks on the ratchet, the shoes should be slightly making contact with the drum at this point.

Theory being if you then pull the lever up a further 2 clicks the wheels should be gripped tight, but at the same time they should revolve freely without any resistance when the lever is totally released and in normal driving position.

Its a delicate balancing act and needs a little patience to set up correctly, worth it when its done though

  • @Bevoin1970

thanks for your fast reply :) I will fiddle some more with it

  • Bevoin1970,

Thank you, great video I learn how to adjust my Dodge Caravan 2002 emergency brake from your video. Although the vehicle is different but the same method that you show in the video. Once again thank you so much.

  • @BagusKayaku Thats ok - Glad I could provided you with any relevant information that enabled you to carry out your own repairs. Thats what its all about...

    Greetings from England :-)

  • 0.35 Are you stupid? You chock it THE OTHER WAY!

  • @RoniisH Well I may appear stupid to you, but I can assure you Im not. What you can't see is the slight hill going downwards at the van front, therefore had I chocked the wheel using the wood in the reverse position, the van could well have rolled up and over that wedge of wood and off leaving me in serious trouble at the rear.

So get yourself in full possession of all the facts before you go calling people stupid, I might take offence next time...

    Thanks for watching and commenting

  • @marlondavies Thats ok thanks for watching and commenting... :-)

  • dose this work on the new shape ones?

  • @MrFasttrack1 No idea haven't been down that road yet, no need too...

Im hoping its the same principle though...

  • tengo una sprinter igual, la compre hace poco, me estoy viendo todos los videos, interesante! . Desde Argentina saludos.

  • @juansebastianpuga Thank You :-)

  • 2 kinds of brakes inside each other so smart idea

  • @hamada3003 Thanks, yes it does seem a very neat idea...

  • Great help, fantastic idea to put something like this on You-tube.

    AA+++++++ thanks a lot

    greetings from iceland

  • @frikkim It sprang to mind when I was about to adjust my own handbrake, thats when I got the idea for it, so I basically filmed myself as you see in this film. Obviously you don't need to remove the drum each time, that was purely for demonstration purposes to show you what your doing with the screwdriver when you poke it inside the hole...

I think it did the trick... :-)

  • nice video. easy to follow without all the talking people mostly do.

  • @erikmoua Thank You, I believe in actions speaking louder than words. Plus for anyone that doesn't speak english, they should still be able to follow what I did in this film easily enough...

    Thanks for watching :-)

  • I love it this guys a pimp had his jewelry on and everything plus the cup of tea classic!!! A+

  • @gubster24 Ha Ha... glad you liked it. The cup of tea is the most important tool in this job... I don't function without it. :-)

    Thanks for watching.

  • Hi thanks a lot but i need help putting an rear ac compressor so i tough maybe you can help me. if yes please post a video and let me know. Thanks

  • @951nick Im sorry, thats way beyond my capabilities. Im just a driver who does the basic stuff to keep my van wheels turning. If its beyond me, then it has to go into a local workshop to get fixed.

Wish I could help you more. I would If I could...

Thanks for watching and asking a good Q

    Paul :-)

  • Fantastic vid my sprinter failed mot on handbrake and this really is a great video- thanks a lot- i would have taken drums off again - adjusted as per video and passed no worries- thanks again- Mick

  • @bikermickyc Thats a brilliant result, and exactly what this video was made for...

Its not difficult, and you don't need to remove the drum, just one bolt. I only took the drum off to show the workings, so you know where to poke your screwdriver.

Im glad you got some satisfaction from watching this. You just made my day. Thanks, and happy motoring...

    Paul :-)

  • Very helpful video, thanks for that :)

If I understand correctly, is that lifting from back axell forbidden?? What could go wrong with that? If I use jack pad of course ;) My Sprinter is 316CDI 9-person minibus, almost 600.000 km behind and still going strong!!! :) Hello from Finland!

Keep on sending those great videos :)

  • Its not really the strongest part of the Axle to jack the vehicle up from, you would be better jacking up close too the leaf spring area instead, where it is much stronger.

I was just being lazy and is not good practise.... Ooops !!!

Hello Finland, Love to your Sprinter Minibus :-)

  • ***** Thank You very help.

In manufacture manual; "Do Not jack using back axell"

Keep surprising how you did jack UP

  • Yes I know your probably right, thats why I use the block of wood to cushion the jack. Its naughty but I think I got away with it... !!! :-)))

    Thanks for watching. :-)

  • nice video.

  • And helpful too I hope? LOL

Thanks and hello from England :-)

  • It's nice to hear a little dialogue now and then.

  • Thanks ;-)

  • this the nice video

  • Thank you .. :-)

  • (Please, read in the reverse order. Youtube won't let me right the whole text at once...)

    Which oil do you use?

By the way, you should use some gloves (even the fabric ones) to avoid loose bits of skin and flesh ;-) Although it is a bit awkward they protect the hands.

    Luiz

  • Thanks for all the info, Oil is usually changed by either mileage or time whichever comes sooner.

I can't wear gloves for doing work like this, so spilling a little blood comes with the territory... ha ha

  • The car was bought in July 2008, less than 2 years ago (left the factory in Jan 2008 though). So I was trying to get more info in the net.

In any case, the MB garage charges 16€ for each litter of oil, which is kind of double the prices outside MB, and they tell me the only acceptable makes/types of oil for this car are those that come in a list called leaf 228.51. Most of the makes in this list 228.51 are unknown. I could not find any of them anyway for sale at the car shop.

  • Thank you.

Paul, if your Sprinter has got 280k miles this means you have enjoyed driving it that much and not for only 5k miles! ;-) Honest, I wish I had driven mine more...

Yesterday, I took it to the MB garage to change the oil because despite the low mileage an alarm light showing one spanner went on. The MB dealer said the oil had to be changed. As the manual says the oil must be changed at 40k km this was quite unexpected. They say it is by mileage or by time.

  • Hi Bevoin,

what a nice vid. Really great. You are a natural-born teacher, believe me. I have a 2008 sprinter, which unfortunately has been extremely underutilized (7000 km only) :-( , so for the moment I don't need to adjust brakes....but the vid is so interesting that it got me hooked on it.

By the way, I must learn how to show words in a video, like you did....hehe.

  • Thanks for such nice feedback, I always appreciate good comments. I made this video for all the Sprinter owners who must have a dodgy handbrake and are not quite sure how to fix it. Garage costs are very expensive, hence the birth of this film.

It all works on the theory, "A Picture is worth a thousand words"

Showing words is easy, you must toy around with your editing software to find out how...

Wish my van had your mileage !! 280k miles now on mine...

Thanks for the sub. Paul :-)

  • VERY GOOD VID!

  • Sorry for my delay in answering, Thanks for watching. :-)

  • @Bevoin1970 NO problem! i enjoyed watching it!

    :)

  • i leaf? thats cheap.

  • 5*!! cheers!

  • Thank You. :-)

  • Hello,

    I own a 1989 Peugeot 205 XE it failed it's MOT for:

Service brake efficiency below requirements (RBT Service Brake Efficiency: 48%) - do you think I can just adjust the handbrake cable, adjust the shoes or will I need completely new shoes?

    Thanks! :)

  • You need to take the rear wheel drums apart and start by looking at the state of your brake shoes first. You may well have brake fluid leaking onto them..?? you wont know unless you look first. If thats ok and shoes are ok, then refit drums and adjust shoes first in a similar way to what I did in this film. In approx. 3 clicks of your handbrake, your wheels should hold good, but not bind on the wheels when released. Adjust shoes by the adjuster first, not the brake cable. Hope this helps.

  • i! I own a 2003 Mustang and my E-brake just won't work, I pull the e-brake and it clicks, but doesn't work.

Do you know if I can adjust my e-brake the same way you did on this vehicle?

    Thanks!

  • Listen what I know about Mustangs you could write on a Pin head..!! literally. :-) However having said that, most hand brakes work on similar principles. You have some sort of physical brake shoe or Pad adjuster and a cable adjuster. You need to start with the rear wheels, check all brake shoes for wear, adjust shoe by means of whatever method is there, check brake cables for seizure or stiffness, make sure what needs to move can actually move. Basically just obvious things to look for. :-)

  • how do you take the front calipers off

  • Same way, remove 2 bolts and lift off...

  • thanks a lot!!! Excellent video and tutorial!! grazie dall'italia ( from italy)

  • Thank You. Im pleased it helped you. Greetings from England.

    :-)

  • Great toturial video Paul..

  • Thanks Andy, I try my best... ha ha :-))

  • Thanks for video, I didnt know where to adjust it till today :-)

  • That's ok, glad too be of some service too you..!!

  • Tks, then I did it on my 97 Sprinter, work for a half a day, adjusting screws were very dirty and rusty.

  • I have done as in the vid but had a problem holding on a hill, works out my new shoes needed scuff up and wearing in,. Hey what have you done with your wheels to get that shiny ring?

  • Yes you always need to bed in new shoes first, then re-set hand brake. Aaah your talking about my "Chrome Wheel Trims" look nice don't they? I got them from Egypt believe it or not whilst on holiday once. You don't see any other Sprinters with them on.... :-))

  • The torque for the caliper bolts = 80Nm and 180Nm for the wheel bolts. I know almost every screw on the Sprinter. I made 3.5 years for an apprenticeship as an auto mechanic. This company had about 15 sprinters, 14 VW Transporter, 6 Ford Transit, 2 Fiat Ducato and many other cars. If you have questions about the Sprinter, talk to me

  • Hello and thanks for the information. I could keep you very busy looking after my Sprinter... ha ha.

Q for you, Which is better in your opinion, VW Crafter or new shape Sprinter?

  • What a great video. I knew there must be secret way to adjust these brakes. I have a 313cdi. I have been trying to get the handbrake sorted to get it through the mot. I've replaced the whole lot, all 3 cables, pads discs and still i can pull the handbrake up to above the seats. It's doing my head in, one thing i haven't done is adjust the internal adjusters with both wheel off the ground and then a final time through the wheel nut hole, i just adjusted them once when i put the disc back on only.

  • Its quite fiddley really but if you follow this video ( don't take wheels off ) you wont go far wrong. You must get both wheels off the ground so you can feel how both wheels feel compared to each other. They must feel the same. So you pull up hand brake 2 clicks then adjust wheels as shown. Don't over do it. By 4 clicks wheels should hold good. 2 clicks brakes are just coming on. Do it right 1st time and you'll be ok. Just take a bit of time to get it right. Good luck. Thanks for watching. :-)

  • I think this is the same guy I caught in my steam fair videos lol I have a Ford Fiesta and the self adjuster never works on the drums but how do I know how far out to wind it? it is teeth on a bar not a rotary adjuster like the one on your van any help would be appreciated! Thanks Ian

  • Yep same Guy Im afraid... Im no expert but I once owned a Ford Escort, similar kind of set up. I think basically you just need to strip adjuster and drum assembly down, clean off all the crap and make sure all the moving parts are not seized up and are actually able to move freely as Ford intended when new. You may need a very small amount of copper grease to do this. Automatic adjusters should work providing teeth are ok and all moving parts can actually move... Hope this helps.

  • Thanks I replaced the shoes in the summer with some help from a friend and cleaned all the adjuster and the small spring that is on it, will have to take the drum off sometime where do I apply copper grease is it applied to the back of the pins that hold the assembly to the drum, I have some I was given but have never used it as not sure where to apply it also where do you apply it on brake pads I know how to change them they are alot easier to me than drum brakes.

    Thanks Ian

  • You just need to make sure that any part thats supposed to be free to move during the braking action only, can actually move, hence a smear of grease helps or just a good wire brushing. Only put a smear of grease on the REAR of your front brake pad ( the metal plate side ) and NOT the friction material side otherwise you'll have NO brakes at all up front.

  • Nice Video!! many thanks!!

  • got any turbo ideas for a 1996 310d version ? .. muchness and helpfullness appreciated . !! .. thanks.

  • Sorry none at all, wish I could be of more help to you.

  • Does this work with the Dodge Sprinter?

  • Can't see why not, it's only the name that's different so Im lead to believe. Im assuming you have a vehicle that looks like mine but with a different name? If that's the case, you should have no problems at all, just do as I did in this video.

  • Mate, !!! your a DAIMOND, ive just sorted my hand brake after watching this, i was going to pull off the wheels and discs, but after i saw your little trick with the wheels on !!!! awesome... mot, here we come ...

  • Well done you for having a go, it's not so bad is it? I admit it can be a tad fiddly getting both wheels the same and not being able to see where your poking the screwdriver blade, all done by feel, but its worth doing because you know you've done it all yourself, a great feeling. Glad to be of assistance. Thanks for watching, Good luck in the MOT

  • I totally agree! I thought it was a wheels off job. Good man!

  • I would say it was more fiddly than difficult, however spend a little time getting it right and you wont have to do it again for quite a while... You need the wheels on so that you can grab hold of them whilst trying to turn them around thus checking how good your adjusting is.

  • just awesome.......

    thxxxx

  • Thank You,

  • Good lesson

  • Thank you.

  • Hi, merci pour cette vidéo très intéressante . N'hésiter pas à nous en refaire ;-). salutations
