This is what the internet was made for: so people who you might otherwise never hear about - people with both the creativity to make something new (lots of people have this) AND the momentum to actually get off their butt and do it (very few people have this, most never overcome their own inertia) - can put their stuff out there and have it connect with some other random person, possibly half a world away, who appreciates it.
