yes topple is free. the reasoning for it is because they made a premium version of it and that is 0.99 cents so they lowered topple to free yeah.

I want a iPod Touch but I don't want to have to pay for a bunch of games and apps, does jailbreaking your Touch fuck it up? Someone in my class created a custom firmware for his and gets loads of free apps and said he'll do it for me, but would it mess anything up? Also, if anyone has jailbroken their Touch, how do you get the games and apps for free?

i jailbroke my itouch 1st 2.2.1 with quickpwn (look it up on google) i installed cydia (for me it is the best option) and i added some source where i can install program called "instalous" (search thru google and youtube) when you have the program you can download and install all the paid and free apps from that prog (wi-fi connexion required)but i'm not 100% sure if it will work) at first i installed it and downloaded games but it didnt want to turn itself on so i deleted it but now it works
