hey i need help: wile i was starting up the vortex game, i pressed the menu button, and now i've had a black screen for about 5 hours and i cant do anything. please help!
You have to turn it fully off and then hold the center button and the menu button! After the screen comes blanco drop it 5inch from the ground 3 times and it should work!!!!!
Oh gosh I'm having the same problem with my Classic 160gb too. It's so freakin' annoying! I've restored, deleted my library, reinstalled itunes and quicktime, tried freakin' everything. Annoying, very annoying. I've only had it a couple of months. I shall update should I find a solution!
@trytouchthis Urgh, I just had to keep resetting and adding the tracks again, current version of iTunes isn't annoying it, thankfully! I'm sure they do it to make you buy new products

I bought another one, but the silver 120gb one. and the fucking apple care.
if you, guys, try to erase the iPod (using Disk Utility [mac ones] and it doesn't work... forget it.
there's no way to solve it.
