do you seriously think thats an insult? cause im laughing? im a sissy that sucks at kata, too bad i dont give a shit and i quit karate like 2 years ago.. get a life seriously, or just end yours
keep contact with the ground, cause the power comes from there (punch should feel like a 100m sprint run) so practise stands, keep your balance:)
If the technique is good, the punch automaticly strong, if use your muscles and body weight with technique the punch stronger, if you use your mind and technique you get the stringest punch ever
Thanks, to answer your question I train at Candian Karate Alliance in Sudbury, Ontario, and i have been toldf that the move is a strike, and it has to do with the bunkai, but there are small differences between every dojo, for example, i saw your seyunchin kata, and thought i ahvent learnt the kata myself, i have seen more advanced belt friends do the kata, and they have small differences, like positioning of the hands in begining combinations
Where do you train? Your 3rd move looks like a strike, but I was always taught it as a block.
Keep it up, and stay with it forver. If you would like to view a kata I uploaded from a tournament, check out it out below. Or just view my movies from my name...
I understand that you are a beginner and Im not going to make fun of you because we all have been beginners. But why did you upload this video if you know you messed up.
I uploaded it cuz i wanted advice on it, and also because i want to see a before and after, since this was posted when i was orange and im now green, i might put one of katas im just learning, and when i feel like i want to quit karate ill put a new fog and see how much i improved, whick i dont see for a long time, and see how much ive improved
Oh ok. Yah Martial Arts sometimes seems like a drag. But after a certain time someone comes to truly appreciate it more than a hobby. Im sure you appreciate your art. Never Give Up.
Keep up the training. One other point, just to clear something up-Your hands were inverted on the first double seiken tsuki. Just wanted to make sure you knew that. (Remember in Goju-Ryu, the rule of thumb is that the bottom hand or fist with be consistent with the front leg.) Just a reminder for you. Gambatte!
Need more practice hehe. Pay attention to the basics, e.g., body not straight enough, horse stances too high and the front kicks not fully delivered...but in time you can perfect it, happy training!
hahahaha, pode.

Practise again and again, stand straight, you tend to lean forward...ie., stance needs work. good effort.

My honest advise is that you work on your stances first and foremost, all else is not extremly important, because your kata was quite good.

I'm guessing the sound is out of sync in this video? Otherwise, good try... practice practice practice.
