She writes better songs than most of today's generation of music. Just because this isn't filled with beats that sound like it came right out of a jungle gym... haha.

And she doesn't get on stage and start stripping and shaking her tits either. She's a talented singer. Like jmodlin said, "She actually wrote the original song that the Backstreet Boys sang back in the day."
