  • I sang Prayer of the Children in choir, and we had someone do ASL with a spotlight and it was breathtaking. I love how they have a boy soprano in this version. Absolutly beautiful

  • Just lovely.

  • DID YOU FORGET SOMETHING?

The Seventh Day is the Sabbath.

    gen 2:1-3

    exo 20:8-11

    matt 28:1

Jesus is coming soon and this is a sign!

  • My calendar shows Sunday as being the 7th day.

  • Wow that little kid has some range! Love the sign language in the background! Wow this is like the voice of an angel.

  • Powerful, powerful music. I love listening to it! :)

  • always love hearing 'prayer of the children'

  • Anyway, it's a lovely piece of music and the young chap singing is fantastic!

  • Isn't it a theme tune from Lord of the Rings??

  • Yes, its called the breaking of the fellowship in lotr. Its one of my most favorite classical pieces, and was delighted to see a tabernacle choir edition.

  • That child is so amazing.

  • Wow....this must be what it sounds like in Heaven! That cute little kid made me cry!! :P

  • If a tin-whistle is truely made of tin then it does sound very woody. Almost recorder like. I have no idea but if it indeed is a tin-whistle let it be

  • I notice one error. Director: It's the Montana School for the Deaf AND BLIND. I should know, I know over half of the school.

  • Well, aren't you just popular.........

  • it's a piccolo that makes that sound, that's that instument. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir by the way is a Latter Day Saint choir. They sing songs of inspiration and are wondrfull. I love the MoTab!

  • Not a piccolo--it is a pennywhistle, sometimes called a tin or Irish whistle. This one is in the key of D --the most common, but they come in all different keys thus varying in length. They have such a haunting sound.

  • oops, my bad. looks like a piccolo on my compy but pennywhistle's are still pretty cool.

  • piccolos are held to the side when played in the same manner as a flute.

  • oh, that's right.

  • This is absolutely beautiful!! I love the tab choir they are always so great!!!

  • Can someone tell me what wood wind instrument is being played? It's not the tenor clarinet.

  • That kid is absolutely amazing!!!! I've never seen anything like this. Simply breath-taking!!!

  • Goose bumps is all I can tell you I have at. Thanks for sharing this with us.

  • Wow, absolutely beautiful! I love it!

  • This was from a special performance in which the Chior sang different songs from Hollywood and Broadway. The CD is called Showtunes and I think the DVD is of the same name. Yes the Song is From the Lord Of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.

  • Oops... Its called Showtime...

  • If I'm not mistaken, this is the same tune used in Lord of the Rings?

  • The tenor clarinet (don't quote me on that) part in the beginning sounds like it, yes.

  • Yes it is, you can't read the title but it says that.

  • @GrandeChoeur i think so thats kinda funny

  • That was amazing, what performance was it from? I love the Mormon Tabernacle Choir when they sing with the Orchestra at Temple Square!!

  • I believe the program is called "Music and the Spoken Word" sunday mornings here in Utah. It's with the MoTab.

  • what channel?
