Thank you so much, Senator Corker! Thank you for standing up for us! As a Tennessean I am so proud of you and Senator Alexander. I'm so tired of hearing this administration throw at all of you and us "I WON". What they seem to forget is that all of our Repubicans in Washington also won their elections and you are there because we (the people in Tennessee) wanted you there. I'm just sick about this whole spending package and other things such as the 2010 census.

Corker is one of the few with the guts to stand up to the "porkers" and the fiscally irresponsible stimulus bill. He, Alexander and gutsy Jim Cooper are voting their conscience and the desires of the voting public. Bravo! And to the Bart Gordon's and Lincoln Davis' - you do not vote as your district has mandated.

Sen. Corker is absolutely right. Our country is just sinking deeper and deeper into debt. This is what we will leave to future generations. Every time I take cash out of my pocket I wonder how long it will be until it has the same value as Monopoly Money.
