The vamps in true blood are pretty much the same besides age, stregnth, speed and social status. The girkl played by dakota could kill all of them with a single thought. The werewolves are more reealistic umm no. They look like wolves and werewolves suppose to be bigger and stronger.

Personally, I'm far more a True Blood girl. I read the first 3 Twilight books and wasn't really keen - too melodramatic and not balanced out enough with the laughs. True Blood - series AND books are far more my thing - read the first 6 books so far, can't wait to get the rest!

Sleeping with a same-gendered vampire isn't really considered gay. There are vampires on the show who were gay humans, and are now married, but that really has nothing to do with anything.
5. Yes, but in Twilight it is implied that only the antagonistic vampires eat humans. (Victoreia, the Vultari, etc.) In True Blood, every single vampire does. Every one.

I watched the movie twilight.. it was great.. but TRUE BLOOD? compare to twilight? As u can see there are more True Blood winners then twilight winners. But I just love the books of the twilight series, the movie are pretty good. but the True Blood serie kicks ass! Personally, I'm far more a True Blood girl. I read the first 3 Twilight books and wasn't really keen - too melodramatic and not balanced out enough with the laughs. True Blood - series AND books are far more my thing - read the first 6 books so far, can't wait to get the rest!

I'm sure both Bill and Edward would die for Sookie and Bella, but in THIS case, Edward would have done the same thing - doing what was best to keep Bella safe. @whoami12341 4. True blood vampires don't have a specific sexuality, usually they keep their human sexuality but that's not always the case. Sleeping with a same-gendered vampire isn't really considered gay. There are vampires on the show who were gay humans, and are now married, but that really has nothing to do with anything.
5. Yes, but in Twilight it is implied that only the antagonistic vampires eat humans. (Victoreia, the Vultari, etc.) In True Blood, every single vampire does. Every one.

True Blood! I loved Twilight and thought nothing could ever beat it untill i found True Blood and DAMN! I'm hooked. I prefer Edward over Bill though. But Eric beats Edward a thousand times over. Also Sookie is a much better heroine than Bella because she can actually stand on her own two feet rather than rely on her boyfriend to get her out of everything!

Not just because sex scenes are awesome, but because vampires (and werewolves) are metaphors for puberty, sex and rape. Twilight fails in so many ways.
