Sanchez, i feel sorry for him, that Ad was referring to covering the story, not having quick reports slanting the story. Two of Ricks examples were not even from this event. As a reporter covering any event you must at least touch on the basic elements of WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, HOW and WHY.. From the few quick shots on CNN of the event the how, why, what were basically ignored.. they did a good job on when and where, and applying their own slant on 'who;' That is not 'covering' folks.

CNN did not cover the event, they antagonized and belittled the attendees. CNN was hostile to the event, not neutral. That is why Sanchez did not show all the interviews. They would have demonstrated CNN's bias.

@westideas if someone covers an event one time, you can say they covered the event in a literal sense. CNN & others I believe, covered the event, but it was so minimal that one could arguable say the event wasn't covered, especially when some of that supposed coverage was a reporter tearing in to a tea party participant. Why so negative when the coverage was so little? Sorry, CNN & MSNBC, ABD barely covered the event, which many rightfully consider not covering it at all. The same with ACORN

I know this because I watched it on CNN. I can't speak for the other networks that you mentioned. However FOX did not cover the event from a journalistic angle, they were more of promoters of the event. Some FOX employees even spoke at the event. I don't care about ACORN, and they have nothing to do with this story. Don't drift!
Actually, I would've been happy if CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and MSNBC actually didn't cover the tea party. There's not much to watch there anyways. When fox says that CNN didn't cover the event, they are referring to the fact that minimal coverage is like no coverage at all.Sanchez did not take any of the Fox clips where they kept a count of sorts as to how much coverage was provided by other news stations & it was dismal. In essence, they did not truly cover the event; they showed a few clips & then had a reporter tear into a participant.

@westideas if someone covers an event one time, you can say they covered the event in a literal sense. CNN & others I believe, covered the event, but it was so minimal that one could arguable say the event wasn't covered, especially when some of that supposed coverage was a reporter tearing in to a tea party participant. Why so negative when the coverage was so little? Sorry, CNN & MSNBC, ABD barely covered the event, which many rightfully consider not covering it at all. The same with ACORN

@ProPTRehab I think you are misinformed or bias about CNN's coverage of the tea party demonstrations. There was a CNN bus along for a large portion of the tour. I know this because I watched it on CNN. I can't speak for the other networks that you mentioned. However FOX did not cover the event from a journalistic angle, they were more of promoters of the event. Some FOX employees even spoke at the event. I don't care about ACORN, and they have nothing to do with this story. Don't drift!

Actually, I would've been happy if CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and MSNBC actually didn't cover the tea party. There's not much to watch there anyways. Beyond this story though, I do agree the news media on a whole is a joke. On the NWO issue now, anything is possible. I listen to: Alex Jones- but question his motives, Hitchens- but I do believe in God, Fox- entertainment, CNN- to stay up to date. I listen objectively.

CNN is not "State" media & it certainly isn't progressive news. It is a "Proprietary" (private & for profit) network & is owned by Time Warner (Biggest Media Conglomerate in the World followed by News Corp aka Fox News). A Conglomerate is a super corporation made up of MANY different corporations. Like CNN, Fox News owned by News Corp also owns Dow Jones. MSNBC aka NBC is owned by GE. GE's also a military contractor. btw, Dow Jones aka Fox provides the financial news on CNBC.
