This film just makes you feel better about being human. If you didn't want to embrace and comfort Mayor after his moving confession, regardless of your sexual orientation, you simply don't have a soul.

Shortbus is one of my very favourite movies--thanks so much for uploading this scene. I think it was was of the most underrated and forgotten ones. Jay Brannan was great, saying so much with his facial expressions. And, the Mayor? So sad and lost at the beginning...

I finally got to see this movie. I loved this seen between Ceth(Jay Brannan) and the ex mayor of New york. It was a really sweet seen in the movie. Just a nice friendly kiss.

Mayor's wisdom is born of suffering, but he remains a beautiful and endearing character. I'm not convinced that all of the characters in Shortbus are as well drawn. I love this scene.

This Movie should of gotten more attention, I know it won critic awards. But such a well done movie worthy of being watched by so many more people! This is definitely one of the most memorable scenes and in my opinion with the most powerful song in the film. Scott Matthew's voice is so rich with raw emotion; its heart-retching.
