@Boogerflick3r 1. Unlock Sumner and use him at least once

2. Save to ensure that Sumner is not "NEW"

3. Choose character management with your current character

4. Choose change and make sure that the Wizard is classified as "NEW"

5. Choose Sumner (Welcome back should be heard)

6. Select change and choose the Wizard (Welcome should be heard)

7. Change again to your character

8. Change again to the Wizard

9. Change again to your character

10. Change to the Wizard and choose done

I found a similar glitch this morning. I was gonna play as the Green Wizard for a new character, and this is after I unlocked Sumner (after I watched your vid on how to unlock him), and when I changed to the Green Wizard. Desecrated Temple and Underworld have already been unlocked. Maybe unlocking Sumner before you beat the game as the Wizard may have something to do with it.

The glitch doesn't seem to work with Jackal though.

I've gotta ask, how did you get sumner's portrait to be in the character selection screen? I know there's a cheat to play as him, but I've never actually seen his portrait in the selection screen. Man that game brings back memories.

There is an invisible path near a switch that you can walk on (the scroll will tell you when you get near it.)

There is a switch later that will lower the gate of the runestone location (you can't miss this switch.)

Hey, i have a question. On the PS2 version, does your character get new armor and weapons as he becomes higher level like ive seen in the gamecube version?

Yes.

Except when you are an alter ego, secret character, or Sumner of course.

This applies to both arcade and console versions.

You're correct in terms of the video.

Actually, any character can be used as long as you use a high-leveled character you built and Sumner is unlocked in the same file.

Going to the Desecrated Temple or the Underworld as a level 1 character is just like asking to get owned badly.

But a certail glitch may help you pass both, despite the very low level.

It is a very messed up glitch. As I said before, it may have something to do with Sumner and Wizard sharing the same Wizard class.

From the arcade to the console versions of Dark Legacy, there are quite a lot of glitches that could either benefit or hurt the players.

BTW, I don't have a gameshark or AR MAX.

The Wizard normally would not start off with the glass shards and runestones just like any other hero class.

But with Sumner unlocked, things will change if the glitch is done correctly.

The game assumes that Sumner and Wizard share the same Wizard class, so the runestones and shards are assumed to be found, even if the Wizard never entered a stage.

the shard thing isnt a glitch when u start the game u cant go anywhere so sumner (the wizard) gives u 15 orange shards so u can go to forsaken realm

You are actually referring to the 15 orange crystals for the Province.

The glitch that I am referring to involve the shards that you would normally get from beating the bosses to restore the entrance to the Desecrated Temple.

The glitch is that you don't actually need to beat the bosses to gain the shards. The runestones are already found as well. As a result, you can enter the Desecrated Temple or the Underworld as a level 1 Wizard.

It was hard to choose a name, so I had to use an interesting one.
