ive just got back from dath valley, the west.. and by watching this video has totally made me realize i didnt stay long enough, but i was stook to a dead line.. i think next time i'll be booking my holiday a little differently after watching this.
Beautiful work. I would recommend a trip to Death Valley to anyone. We did it during the summer months, August to be exact. By 10am it was 118 in the shade and quite an experience. The place is mind boggling and mesmerizing. Next goal? Have to go to Barrow AK during the winter months...January for the full effect.
Thanks for the comment! The video was shot on a Canon XH-A1, the timelaspe was shot on a Nikon D300 with a Mumford Timemachine motorized gear head. The video was edited in Avid.
What a stunningly beautiful place! The soundtrack really connects the visuals with the body to make a memorable and deeply satisfying expereince. True artistry in sound, motion and sight. Delicious.
This trailer suggests a magical movie about nature's wonders and, after watching the entire film, I was amazed at that work of art, created with great sensitivity and incredible footage... and I am in awe of the soundtrack... what talented composer... bringing the images to life in such a manner, exalting the magic and mystery of the place ! Beautiful and meritorious work !
A good friend showed this trailer at CSU San Francisco to her CA Plants & Animals class as an intro to a lecture on CA deserts--they loved it, especially the music! Many compliments to the musicians and producers. Wish I could have gotten to Death Valley this spring!
The dramatic combination of the guitar and drums complements the amazing Death Valley scenery so well that it leave me longing to see and hear the entire DVD. Worthy of the National Geographic Channel (with the sound system cranked up, of course).
After watching the preview in North Fork, I have to say that to fully appreciate the the completeness of the video integrating with the score, one MUST see the entire film. Ideally with a quality sound system! The pacing of the film is wonderful. So much like the desert environment, it takes its time developing and blossoming.
Wow! This is incredible! The music is totally fantastic. It conjures up all of the magic and beauty the desert has to give. I grew up near this area and have a special love for it. Thanks for bringing it to life with such beautiful sight and sound.
Growing up, my family went to Death Valley every year for a camping trip, always a highlight of the year. Your beautiful cinematography and music score brought back fantastic memories of this amazing place. Thank you.
I'm swept away. The majesty of the photography appointed by perfect music. A beautiful and welcome feeling. A hearty "thank you to whomever was involved in the production". If a DVD (or more in *any* medium) is available (this is a "trailer", right?), where can I get it?
i want to move out there so bad....
