@CristoYcruz But Jesus IS the Elohim who spoke Exodus 20:3--see John 10:30-33--the subject of my latest video. This is what you are misunderstanding, Jesus IS Yahweh Elohim...
@CristoYcruz Watch the second video in my series on the Hebrew NT. There can be no doubt that the scriptures teach that "God is one" in the sense of a Unity comprised of multiple parts: A Tri-unity. With this doctrine, the scriptures referring to God's oneness can be "rightly divided." Without this doctrine, you invalidate the scriptures and violate the integrity of the Bible. Why not just embrace it?
@CristoYcruz My friend, what I see you doing is the same thing I see all Hyper-monotheists do. You take less clear passages, misinterpret them, and then use your misinterpretation to misinterpret the more clear passages which clearly and unequivocally teach the doctrines of the Trinity and Deity of Jesus Christ.
I will pray for you see clearly on this issue--these doctrines make God's plan for us cohere and are sine qua non for living the Christian Way of Life.
@CristoYcruz But John 1:3 clearly says that THE WORD created all things, and John 1:14 says that Jesus is the Word. Thus, Jesus, God the Son, is the Creator of all things--not the Father.
Gen 1:1 says אלהים (Elohim) created all things--השמים והארץ (HaShamayim veHaAretz) is simply a poetic way of saying all things. Thus Jesus is the Elohim who created all things.
Yes, but Jesus is the God who created all things. Jesus is Man, but the fact that He is Man does NOT mean that He is not God. He is the God-Man, both the Son of God AND the Son of Man, both God and Man.
@CristoYcruz You have to engage in such twisted hazy casuistry to come up with the Doctrine of Hyper-Monotheism. Why not just accept the straight clear statement of Scripture:
אלהים היה הדבר׃ הדבר נהיה בשר וישכן בתוכנו
The Word was God, the Word became Flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:1,14)
The Word = God; Jesus = The Word; therefore------>Jesus =God
It's so simple and beautiful, why not just accept it?
Our amazing God is a expert in using multilayer pictures as there are many in the Word . And yes the Lord God will restore the remainder of the Jews in the last days sending His two men of oil. And even now Jews are being saved and get baptised , as i receive reports from it on a weekly basis , and not only so, even Arab speaking people are drawn toward the Banner, Standard and Perfecter of our faith in Israel . On the other hand His Servant is salvation to all nations Isa. 49:6
@treasureinvessel -------->even now Jews are being saved and get baptised; and not only so, even Arab speaking people are drawn toward the Banner
Yes, many Jews and Muslims are coming to Christ. The internet (such as youtube) has opened things up and allowed contact with Jews and Muslims that would not otherwise have been possible. These two peoples are often ostracized by their families and friends if they accept Jesus, so the internet is often the best way to reach them...
@egwpisteuw yes the reactions are war like, as Jesus came to bring the sword, dividing families and households. There are heartbreaking stories out there. On the other hand , no one enters the kingdom of heaven without suffering , but is of no comparison to the eternal weight of glory ! And God will wipe away every tear and mourning and sorrow will flee away. So we will come to Sion with joy and singing.
The time of righteousness is near and Christ will return to Jerusalem.
In that hour He exulted in the Holy Spirit and said, I extol You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to babes. Yes, Father, for thus it has been well pleasing in Your sight. Luke 10:21
''bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent Me to bind up the wounds of the broken-hearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the eyes to those who are bound . Again nothing to do with the intellect

@egwpisteuw its incorrect to say the New Testament is the work of Jewish genius
1 it was Jehovah who made the new covenant not any Jew Jer 31:31
2 All Scripture is God-breathed 2 Tim 3:16 And His Word is Spirit and Life John 6:63, 48, 51(Jew are good in diamonds but not in being Spirit and giving Life (Zoé) except for Jesus being Jewish.
3 This Word goes beyond human ability for His Word is the real bread Math 4:4
Why do you spend money for what is not bread ? Isaiah 55:2
@treasureinvessel Yes, that is a good point. The ultimate source of all scripture is indeed God not man.
However, Our Lord said:
"You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews."
Likewise, the Doctrine of Verbal Plenary Inspiration of scripture says"
"God the Holy Spirit so supernaturally directed the human writers of Scripture that, without waiving their intelligence, their individuality, their personal feelings, their literary -continued....
But we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block, and to Gentiles foolishness 1 Cor 1:23
What of the two is better? I let Myself be inquired of by those who did not ask for Me, And found by those who did not seek Me. I said, Here I am; here I am; To a nation that was not called by My name. Isaiah 65:1
And the wisdom of their wise men will perish, And the understanding of those who understand will be hidden Isaiah 29:14b. Read the whole verse !
@treasureinvessel I think you have to keep in mind the Biblical paradox of the Jews:
1. God chose them as the human authors and guardians of scripture: who are Israelites, to whom belongs the... covenants and the giving of the Law...and the promises Rom 9:4
2. They are currently (corporately) in unbelief: ...the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them...they were broken off for their unbelief Rom 11:17-20
3. In the future they will again regain their spiritual hegemony: and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB." Rom 11:26
I think maybe you are picturing the Jews in my point #2 (currently in unbelief) and I am picturing them in my points # 1 and 3 (the chosen human authors and guardians of scripture who will eventually regain the spiritual hegemony).
@egwpisteuw The position of the Jews is very interesting , God spoke of the two sides of His people the stars in heaven and the sand on the seashore. They are heavenly and they are earthly , yet one city
I remember the cultivated olive tree in which i a wild branch am grafted. I recall de dogs who eat the crumbs that have fallen from the table , i am a gentile dog.
And i remember all the unclean animals in the great white sheet which now can be eaten , for they are declared clean.
@treasureinvessel Yes, we are in debt to preach the gospel to the Jews to try to get some grafted back into their tree with us, as Paul said:
For I could wish that I myself were accursed, separated from Christ for the sake of my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh, Rom 9:3
This is the part of the purpose of my new series--to present the Gospel of Yeshua (Jesus) to them in their Holy language in the hope that some may watch and trust Yeshua and get grafted back into the tree...
@egwpisteuw'' salvation is from the Jews'' how do you see this brother ? There was a big and very important ''BUT '' after this sentence ! We must stress and focus on that which the Lord focusses on and not on what we think or feel is important, do you agree to this ? We must lose our soul-life to become an overcomer and lose our own interest and choice.
@treasureinvessel ----->"salvation is from the Jews'' how do you see this brother ?
I interpret it to mean that God chose the Jews as the ethnic people through whom Messiah would come. It is interesting to note in this verse in the Hebrew (John 4:22):
הישועה מן-היהודים היא
HaYeshuah min HaYahudim Hu
Yeshua is from the Jews
...or Jesus is the Jewish Messiah. Thus I think everyone should thus have a special burden for the salvation of the Jews just as the Apostle Paul did.
@egwpisteuw everyone should thus have a special burden for the salvation of the Jews just as the Apostle Paul did -------------> Amen yes i do! Its the breathing out of the Church from Jerusalem (today's spiritual Sodom and Gomorrah) unto the breathing in back in to the Church in Jerusalem in the near future.
The Church as it was meant by Christ must be restored within the undivided city of Jerusalem , just like the physical temple must be rebuild first and the priesthood restored .
There is no power in heaven or on earth to prevent the Church-( the house of the living God) to be restored within the walls of the earthly Jerusalem soon . AND I WANT TO BE THERE LORD !
@treasureinvessel ..continued - style, or any other human factor of expression, His Complete and Coherent Message to mankind was recorded with perfect accuracy in the original languages of Scripture: the very words bearing the Authority of Divine Authorship."
Thus, in a sense, the New Testament is a work of Jewish genius.
@huguenot67 Excellent question. I do not subscribe to the Aramaic primacy theory. I believe that all of the books in the NT were originally WRITTEN in Greek and that is the language in which they were inspired.
However, certainly, much of the conversation in the Gospels and much of Acts originally took place in a Semitic language (Aramaic or Hebrew--there are some who believe Jesus sometimes taught in Hebrew) and the mindset of all of the NT authors continued...
@huguenot67 ..continued was Semitic--except Paul who clearly could think like a Greek and a Roman citizen and whose command of the Greek language and mindset is phenomenal, to the point where he could outthink the erudite intellectuals at the Aeropagus (Acts 17)--He was the greatest Roman citizen of them all.
Thus, reading NT in Hebrew, especially idiomatic Biblical Hebrew, as the Delitzsch translation uses, is especially enlightening and helpful in recovering the Hebrew mindset and idiom.
