What is the effect near the end? Sounds like a univibe at max speed.

This question was asked at one time. Steve has an old programmable Modulated Digital Delay Pedal, made by Ibanez. So it's capable of Echo's, Chorus, Flanges and anything in-between. The sound at the end you hear, is somewhere between a chorus and flange setting with a high speed rate. .

whats strange is that most of the hendrix impersonators are white and play right handed, the complete opposite of jimi who was black and left handed!

Very nice. Yeah you don't hear gypsy eyes too often. Nice start to Message to Love. You've got the Fillmore sound happening. What effect gave you the organ sound near the end of Gypsy Eyes? Sounds like the same sound as Jimi had on "Angel".

Thanks for the cool remark. I've asked Steve about that effect. He says it was done using a Modulated Digital Delay pedal, a programmable model by Ibanez. It was made for Chorus & Flanging, but you could tweek delays too. He said he had it set to a mild Flange just before that and then switched to that sound near the end. He says he set it by ear, but that it's some kind of warbled Chorus or Delay with a quick speed.
