  • My Father had this car as a company car. His was white with red interior. We all loved that car! I think he had it for about 4 years. They then gave him a Caddy Fleetwood. He always said he preferred the Marquis to the Caddy.

  • Very nice vid.

I have my father's(R.I.P) 1978 Mercury Grand Marquis Brougham with 460 motor under the hood.

  • My uncle bought one of these(2-door) off the showroom floor. That night he let his daughter-my cousin- have the car for the night. She always let me drive when we went out with friends. I swear to you all we were on the highway doing 80 and it felt like we were doing 30.

  • wow ,what a beauty! looks like a time capsule! check my classic car out please guys!!

  • I have a 1978 Mercury Marquis Colony Park station wagon....complete with fake wood! Really enjoyed viewing your car.

  • Great car, great music. You keep that car damn nice!

  • Wow, this is really nice. I just picked up one myself, it is just a Marquis Brougham though. They are awesome cars to drive.

  • @prs0889 what year?

  • @prs0889 just checked your channel. I see its a 78 also.

  • @prs0889 Do you still have that Marquis Brougham?

  • If Detroit hadn't stopped making cars like this, they wouldn't be in the trouble they're in now ;-)

  • Can't believe anyone pulling out the original radio with 8-track player... They should be put in prison for that !

  • feel ya... they make kite to install cd players under the dash

  • I would recommend asking the company you pay insurance for on your car about that. I'm pretty sure it's not illegal in Canada to drive a car that doesn't have KM's/HR i know this because alot of people import cars from the usa to canada all the time.

  • @Smellotheclown Are you playing the 1974 8-track album entitled "Light of Worlds"?

  • I have a 1974 Ford LTD, and the speedometre is only in miles. Do you think if i stuck a speedometre from a late '70s LTD or Grand Marquis in there with Km/H, would that work at all? because apparently it's illegal to have a non-metric speedometre in SK, and I'm sure as hell not putting fuckin stickers on there.

  • Very nice! It's interesting to see the kilometres/hr scale on the speedometer.

  • Beautiful interior! Ride engineered!! Love the mechanical digital clock front and center! :) Jack
