I guess we've learned,more than anything else, that gorilla glass on the iPhone is stupidly hard material, more so than un-coalesced ceramic, epoxy binders and orange day-glo pigment.

So you suck at applying Cerakote?  Lots of people do. In order to get a good adhesion you MUST blast the object with aluminum oxide, then bake, then degrease, then coat, then bake again. Funny your flashlight fails but my shotgun which gets knocked around in a steel truck bed hasnt wore through yet.
