at 2:55 I don't like how you ended the drum solo with those fast hip drops they don't go with the music i would try spinning or some traveliing hip twists to better go with the drum

and for the habib el alb, at 5:27 you do a choo choo shimmy that i think is misplaced completely

was that improv?

I appreciate your opinion. I happen to like the hip drops at the end and think they fit. HOwever I do agree that something other than the choo choo shimmy may have worked better in the second song. It was my first time dancing to it and yes it was improv.

i can tell you primarily dance as a Caribbean dancer and not an arabic dancer; it makes sense to me now you have the technique but you lack the musicality or connection with the music which is why your moves don't translate with arabic music very well

i didn't realize this before so forgive my earlier critiques

i had thought you were primarily a belly dancer now it all makes sense

you are a very good dancer! keep dancing! :)

From 2:11-3:02 you display an unbelievable amount of control in shimmying at the right intensity and layering other moves on top. I thought that was the coolest part of the video.
