I've had three concussions in less than two years, the last two being between 6 months. I was out of school for two months. Two of them from football one from a snowboarding accident... Can't play physical sports anymore, may I add im 12!

im wondering if i have one. today i was snowboarding and caught a edge at 15 mph and hit my head against the snow (i was wearing a helmet). I remember everything clearly, and havn't expeirienced any symptoms since. The reason im worried is because when I hit the ground i closed my eyes for a millisecond (i did not lose consicenence though), and when i opened them i was seeing stars for about half a second. I probably dont im just wondering.

I hope i dont got a concussion cause at football practice today, i was in a O line/hitting drill, and we were doing multiple hits in a row. When the Big hit came, me and the other guy hit facemask to facemask and then i just dropped and he was on top of me. I had only blacked out for a sec, but it took me a while to get up, and my vision was blurry for jst a sec, and my neck hurt like hell and i had a huge head ache! If any body could provide any insite i would really apreciate it!

had 4 concussions in last 4 years, noticed my memory isnt as good as it was and cant concentrate on things as well as i could. im only 22. look after your heads guys.

what if you were elbowed in the back of the head repeatedly? does that count as second thru like 10th impact syndrome?

I got hit in the head real hard, and passed out for 5 seconds. I forgot about it for a while, now that I remember it, the top part of my head hurts little, am I on the safe side. my doctor says unless I get a real bad headache or migraine I should worry about it.

I recieved a headbutt 2 days ago causing a concussion. Imagine an intense sharp pain in your head coupled with a sudden confusion and panic (my brain pretty much went wtf), tinnitus and blurred vision. I also have no memory of what happened for about 5 seconds afterwards.

@VIDEORESPONSENOOB I didn't feel much pain. Some dude did a wrestling move on me, I landed on the back of my head instead of my back. I walked it off, went to sit down got dizzy started trippin balls (hallucinating) but didnt go to the hospital or anything, just sat there till I felt better lol

I had a concussion without knowing it. I always thought you get concussions when you get knocked out. But one time I was sitting down with friends and got kicked in the side of my head by a soccer ball at school. It came out of nowhere. I didn't get knocked out but I was so dazed and confused. I couldn't think properly and my memory was messed up. I didn't know what class I had next and where it was and my friends thought I was bsing. My memory of what I did that day was so vague.

EXACT same thing with me. Im getting bad headaches after i got hit in the head harddddd on the back of my head. My mom said that i probably got a concussion but ill get better and the docter doesnt really help beacuse they just say...yup you have a concussion...and they cant really help you but it cost lots of money

i just got a concussion first game of the season in football, it ended up a grade 3 cuz i was knocked out lol but it ends up that now i was outta school for 2 weeks....now i have homebound instruction and doc said that if i cnt concentrate which i cnt dont go back to school so now i get outta more school 3-4 weeks haha not bad..but prob done w/football which sux and no physical activity

I got a smack of a glass bottle in the back of the head, i lost all feeling and dropped to the ground. My head smacked off the ground and knocked me out. So im geussing I got a concussion.

A low life, with nothing better to do. Dont worry it doesnt hurt for a few hours due to shock. then its like getting a banging feeling on your head. Paper cuts still hurt more though. haha

A concussion is any disruption in mental/neorological function after blunt head trauma.

iow: If a blow to your head has knocked you out or left you dazed, you've had a concussion.

a significant blow? how significant is significant? it seems like i bump my head into somethign almost all the time, i just hit my head on my bed which is made of wood this morning, could i have a concussion or any type of brain damage from it?
