It was Brand new with only 0.5 miles on it before the trck left the dealers, he locked in 5 miles from the dealers to my uncles house. Now its has around 150k miles on it. This man travels around U.S. with that thing. and its still running like it was when it had almost no miles. There's 09 Camry's out there with 95k miles on it now.

I have a 1992 Chevy 1500WT with the 4.3v6(the real one with iron heads) and the truck has 420,000 miles on it right now. Try doing that with a shitty aluminum 4.8 or 5.3. Even the A/C still works, with the original Harrison compressor with the factory filled R12 still in it.
Same here, when Chevy & GMC went to the newer body style in 1999 they discontinued their rock solid cast iron engines and switched them out for aluminum piece of shit engines, that get piston slap, and warped heads. they can't there too clean.. but they could blow up a hybrid. the gas engine still runs.. so pour the liquid glass in the oil and rev it up.. the electric motor will not get the car moving from the starts so the car is basically dead. the electric motor is on for cruising on the highway at a set rate of speed then when you hit the gas the gas motor will kick in to provide power to get up to speed.
If it would of been a 350 it would of went for 5 minutes. They sure don't build them like they used to at all. Once Chevy did away with the 350 in 1999-00 i did away with new Chevys.

The S-10 and blazer needed to be updated but they dropped the ball when they did away with the reliable, fuel efficient and strong running 4.3. I happen to have a Chevy. 92 1500 4X4 with a 4.3 that I will take over any Ford or Dodge. I still get 18MPG and up. Some newer truck don't.

It was Brand new with only 0.5 miles on it before the trck left the dealers, he locked in 5 miles from the dealers to my uncles house. Now its has around 150k miles on it. This man travels around U.S. with that thing. and its still running like it was when it had almost no miles. There's 09 Camry's out there with 95k miles on it now.

see this truck, this truck isn't a clunker its too new to be a clunker, what I think of clunkers is that there 16 years old or older, it has 200,000 miles on it, you take it to the repair shop 5 10 times and wasted thousands of dollar on repairs when it only worth $800 and the car has duck tape and bunji cord because the door is broken, and the bumpers is ducktape because it falls of so thats what I think of clunkers.

Here ya go clash for clunkers- I just BOUGHT a 1990 suburban and the thing is awesome!! 140,000 on it and the compression is still 120 pounds in each cylinder- It needs a paint job because from 88-92 the paint GM used was definately in need of some redesigning with the clearcoat and such. I have a 1992 Chevy 1500WT with the 4.3v6(the real one with iron heads) and the truck has 420,000 miles on it right now. Try doing that with a shitty aluminum 4.8 or 5.3. Even the A/C still works, with the original Harrison compressor with the factory filled R12 still in it.

they can't there too clean.. but they could blow up a hybrid. the gas engine still runs.. so pour the liquid glass in the oil and rev it up.. the electric motor will not get the car moving from the starts so the car is basically dead. the electric motor is on for cruising on the highway at a set rate of speed then when you hit the gas the gas motor will kick in to provide power to get up to speed.

That is nothing compared to the 1999 Escalade we had to do in September. Stupid owner left the gps navigation system and dvd players in it, wasn't even smart enough to rip them out. Shows the intelligence of rich snobs. This one was the older body style, and had the 5.7 V8 in it, and went 5 minutes, but when it finally went, the radiator exploded and 2 gallons of antifreeze went onto the grass underneath it.

Its called Sodium Silicate. They use it on the bigger engines or else they have to wait around for it to die. The reason the foreign tinker toys won't die is because its not efficient to bother with putting the solution into the tiny motors, so they kill them old fashion way. This suburban has a V8 with strong main bearings and connecting rods, most Japanese cars have expendable 4 cylinder engines.

Even with some of the worst vehicles ever made Pinto, Chevette, Corvar, there are people that love them and say they are great cars. Gm axed the Trailblazer and soon Canyon/Colorado because they didn't sell. The S-10 and blazer needed to be updated but they dropped the ball when they did away with the reliable, fuel efficient and strong running 4.3. I happen to have a Chevy. 92 1500 4X4 with a 4.3 that I will take over any Ford or Dodge. I still get 18MPG and up. Some newer truck don't.

Existing infrastructure can be used (service stations) and you're not using sacred food supplied (corn, etc) GM have already developed motors for Brazilian market to run off Enthanol via Sugar Cane. Why not Algae in the next 30 years or so?

Obama's turning our entire nation into such a venture-capital scheme. "Hey, I got this great idea! How about... It's gonna be HUGE!! Just GOTTA work!" Since he has no real-world experience, he has no appreciation for how 98% of bright ideas fail in venture capital schemes. No appreciation for how complex/scary the world really is, nor how blessed we are to have what we have--like all these cars!! DEMOCRATS ARE LIKE TRUST FUND KIDS ON DRUGS. Go back to school! The beauty of capitalism is people are free to invest their own money in such things as your Algae-for-fuel and get rewarded to the extent that it actually proves to be helpful to people. And if it fails, only the people who invested get hurt--doesn't pull the entire country down. In that latter case, society benefits from their negative example, increasing likelihood of someone coming up with an idea that actually works. Plus decentralized decision making allows more simultaneous ventures.

My apologies for stating the obvious about capitalism to all those who grew up knowing it, but in a country that just elected someone with no leadership experience to the presidency, chanting "Yes We Can!
