80%-100% combos in this game are pretty common with about any character assuming you have the meter for it.

His Drop Kick takes off too much as is, but thats isn't too much to complain about considering the obvious amount of setup he needed to pull it off.

That tells me that they already know how to deal with Raiden and the simple, easy to see flying kick thats coming a mile away. Don't know what's so hard about playing against Raiden. Maybe its just people's lack of diversity in the game.

Raiden has the same problem that Tager has from BB. High risk high reward. The damage he does may seem overpowered but really the set-up and spacing needed is pretty strict.

Though, that drop kick rapes the guard meter. I'm not saying Tager is OP, he's my BB main and damn it's really hard to play as him when people can rush you down the way they can. You can't rush quite that well in KoF.

@Yosefhouser well TBH tager combos dont go above 3k most of the time, and he can do 5k with 720 or a rapid combo off 360B, on the other hand tager now has gadget finger which lets him reset pressure and keep people close after combos, so once tager catches you your not getting away. Combo dmg is probably the least effective way to tell a characters worth, its how easily he can land that dmg that counts.

@sablesoul Not really, Raiden's grab range is extremely generous. Tager is actually extremely balanced since a lot of other characters are just as imba as he is. Raiden's set up is also not even close to being as strict as Tager.

How is Raiden overpowered? He has to charge those dropkicks for 16 seconds (I think, not sure) to do all that damage. While he's charging he can't do his CD attack, can't roll, and can't do any kick moves. Seems like a pretty fair trade off to me. Also he's pretty slow.

Mexico never played with any other country... they play only mexico vs mexico, so you cant say that mexico is the best comunity. Brazilian players went to PERU and won every match, only SALADO beat buchecha one and half year ago. Now, the best SOUTH AMERICAN players are SALADO(PERU), BUCHECHA(bra), Sabaozinho(bra) kbecinha(bra)... some say that KULA is the best mexican player. From asia, HUMMER, 10101010, AMURO, KYOMA, COLA321... very good japanese and tailand players.

@lukesama did you hear what they said? When he's charging Drop Kick he can't tech roll or throw. Also can't CD Counter or sweep seeing as how Mr. KOF was holding both kicks for that combo. It's hardly any different than Boxer's Turn Around Punch in Street Fighter.

So yeah, its a BIT different.

@darktim99 The best KoF on the 360 is on XBLA - Kof 98, to be precise. It's not got a decent online mode though, and nobody plays it. Still a fantastic fighter, though. One of the true classics.

KoF XIII (when it arrives) should be absolutely stellar.
