Man, that was gross in concept, but they did it all wrong. If they REALLY wanted to sell it, there should have been a pocket of stage blood or red corn syrup just underneath the growth with some flesh tone liquid latex. Imagine the lifelike stretch of the "skin" and the spurt of "blood" that really would have turned stomachs!
