That's just really low marimba. The samples were most likely either pitch-bended or played with mallets that were too hard. It's in tune, and good, don't worry ;)
lawl i hate the finale sound engine its impossible to work with. im in the middle of a piece of music right now for a percussion ensemble. have you found the third percussion sound bank its under honkeytonk piano when your selecting instruments.....it has the best conga and timbale and other sounds in the whole program.
i like the vibraslap! This is a pretty good concert-only arrangemnet. Nice. job. You should try to avoid some of the repition, thats why I cut some of the original version off, it just gets too boring without lyrics. You should try to get some better instruments to work with
thanks! means alot! i totally agree with you about cutting off the some of the original stuff. i was thinking about that too, so i tried to make different variations of those measures. looks like it didnt really make a difference haha. for the instruments i just went through the instruments list on my program and just added anything that sounds cool lol. im thinking the bongos and the congas may be a bit weird. but this is only my first arrangement ive made so far.
is it possible that we could get the music for this?

0:30 - 0:40 seems to be very Atonal. Maybe thats just because you've arranged it as very low notes but they dont even sound in the scale.
