so the verse is 11/8, the chorus is 4/4, and the bridge alternates between 8 and 10 counts so yeah 9/4 for the bridge. oh how i love omars writing

yup, good eye. and believe me the higher you tune that drum, the better it gets. The eq i have on my snare makes it sound very low and heavy but it sounds just as good tuned higher. it's super versatile, and you won't go wrong either way.

That whole kit sounds aweseome just not the snare. I actually heard both the valkyrie and masai and to me the masai seems to be a little ballsier since bubinga is harder than maple and birch. Sounds and little dryer but it does sound killer.
