The thing is, thats bullocks and a waste of time. All they had to do was build a case that could protect the ipad once it hits it's terminal velocity, which as it's a small light weight bit of plastic made by slave labour, the speed is quite low

@Ieahn96 at 100K ft the atmosphere is a lot thinner and thus terminal velocity is a a lot higher. It would accelerate beyond its terminal velocity as observed at much lower altitudes then decelerate as the atmosphere begins to thicken.

not impressed at all, no shit the ipad doesnt have a scratch on it, it didnt land screen side down. the only way this would survive is if it landed on its back like it did, but ofcourse they made sure of that attaching something on the other side to balance it out, also greatly slowing its terminal velocity
