How can you not like VInce Carter and Ryan Anderson coming to the Magic? Well I guess if you were a Nets fan. We lose Turk but we gain Vince Carter. I love Turk but I think we come out ahead with Vince. We lose Battie and gain Ryan Anderson. Battie is a solid bench player but has no perimeter shot and Ryan does. We lose Rafer but we get Jameer back. Courtney is going to be great for New Jersey but I think losing him to gain everything else was worth it.
i agree 100%. I think turk was a downfall for the magic though he forced so many shots and created so many turnovers. his clutch plays were great but it wouldnt be necessary if he was smarter with the ball
do divsion 2 college basketball players make pro anywhere in the world? or even play euro league if someone could let me know if there is a d11 guy who has done this before i would be thankful thanks
Yeah a lot of D2 and D3 guys wind up playing overseas. Euroleague is normally loaded with D1 guys, but leagues like the Phillipines, Japan, some German teams etc. have a lot of D2 guys
I think Ryan Anderson will become much better player especially at 3-points shot this year because most likely Stan Van Gundy system is outside shooting.
orlando is my favorite team..when they traded lee and turkey they broke the team ill be honest but at the same time u bring a legend is his own right one of the best high flyers in the game too this day in lees place. anderson is bigger than turjet and younger.. they switched him to power forward and lewis to small forward. magic have a bigger chance at a championship this year..
this guy just scored 30 points and 14 rebounds at the summer league in orlando. i don't think we got ripped off in the trade he is also two years younger than lee.
there was a dunk at :40, but ryan is an energy beast, hes a good guy for offensive boards and with him and dwight, itll be tough for opposing team to get off.rebs.
Does anyone else think he resembles Turkoglu or could resemble Turk in the future? I think so, and they got CDR......... the Nets did very well in the 08 draft
Ryan Anderson, PF 7-14 3pt: 5-8 20 pts

A pure shooter that can rebound in the paint. Good for any team, especially for the Magic.
